From what I've figured out, there isn't a proven flaw in Christianity. Only flaws in those who represent it. That's always where the debate is; the Christians, not the actual religion itself.

There's nothing wrong with pursuing a spiritual connection to something abstract. It's part of the "inner self" soul hunting thing. It also does a lot of good in bringing otherwise different people together.
Our problems with religion lie with the institutions that build up around them and try to middle-man your spiritual connection. Just like Christian leaders wound impoverished, uneducated Christians into crusading and witch hunting frenzies, now we have Imams winding impoverished, uneducated Muslims into infidel hunting frenzies.
