I keep with the same type of avatars that kind of remind me as a person I wanted to be when I was younger, so I kept the same one for so long, though I think it could do with a change.

I change mine whenever somebody suggests/makes a new one for me. There was a time where I changed it like every day or so, though.

This avatar is actually left over from another forum I used to frequent many years ago. I didn't use it for very long (I was one of those switch-every-month types) so I thought "why make a brand new av?"

Also the issue of how long someone has an avatar, 6 monthe=s is maybe a stretch, 3 months is more like it to me, but switching too often is annoying.
