THE FEATURED GAME THREAD

*cough cough*
Anywho, I am going to throw Legionwood as a suggestion. It will become the site's most downloaded game before the year is out, and from the looks of things appears to be a pretty solid game.

How come?
Personally, I have never played a single Legionwood game, but...it has to be somewhat good since I'm always seeing it everywhere I go around all the different RMN communities. So, yeah, it has to have some redeeming qualities that keeps drawing people back to them.
I'm not sure what else to recommend, since I rarely play any RM games anymore...not since probably two years ago. But, if I had to make a choice, I would probably vote for either Forever's End, or Sailerius' newest creation: Finding Eden.

Legionwood is completed and popular, but it's not very good.
Ain't matter if it isn't good. It's popular, and that's why it ought to at least get featured, although I think Legionwood is popular enough that whether it gets featured or not, it also doesn't really matter.
@Brent: Forever's End doesn't count because it's theoretically not complete yet.
Also, it's not so much that a game isn't completed that it doesn't get featured, it's more that it is still in development. (We have featured canceled games and episodal games in the past). It would be silly to feature a work-in-progress.
Phantom Legacy, Vacant Sky, Aetherion and Tales of the Drunken Paladin are also candidates.

LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

There are no such thing as completed games, only abandoned games~
I disagree that it should be featured because it's popular. Things should be featured if they're good, regardless of popularity. Granted, popularity in an indie game is almost always because the game is good... so I dunno.
I haven't actually played any of the games in question except Forever's End. My vote is for anything but Dragon Phallus.

There is no such thing as perfectionist - there are only obsessives.
"The thing about perfection is that it's unknowable. It's impossible, but it's also right in front of us all the time."

Exactly. Your game can always still be improved, so it's never done.
author=LockeZBut it can be in a completed state. It is a choice.

One of these days Vindication will be in a state where it's worthy of being a featured game. One of these days...
(spoiler: RMN will be gone and I will be dead before it gets to that point)

The vagueness here is really ingenius.

Isn't that from the TRON sequel, or did they quote somebody else?

Well, I got it from the TRON sequel, but I have no idea if they quoted someone else. It seems like a zen thing.

I don't disagree. How does that contradict what I said?
