THE FEATURED GAME THREAD
Posts
To be fair, I don't remember ever having seen the Featured Game being changed on time. There's been a few days of delay every time for a long time now.
So, Will It be Lacria or Blackmoon 2? Also, Yomotsu could be featured at some point as an igmc winner.
The site just ate my goddamn post!
Anyway, I got distracted halfway through doing the featured game (read: kids-napped) two days ago and forgot all about it, thinking I'd already done the damn thing.
Now it's done. And congrats to Yomotsu. Had to start the year with Hell Ride: The Game.

This month's and next month's Featured Games have already been chosen. Libby just needs to wake up and make it so.

Right now that billboard thing on the front page is advertising 3 events that are already long over. I really think that needs to be updated more often, because it creates a bad impression to newcomers that this isn't an active community. The active users at the bottom of the forums look thin as it is already, compared to say rpgmakerweb, so I really think even a little thing like this will have an impact in the long run.
If there are no events or anything to put up, might I be so bold as to suggest featuring more than 1 game per month? It may seem less special to get the spot, but I think it would actually serve to help more people and promote more games overall.

rpgmakerweb is the Walmart of rm sites. We are like Whole Foods. Change my mind.
because it creates a bad impression to newcomers that this isn't an active community.
so you want us to lie?
Wasn't Whole Foods accused of "mislabeling" the weight of their packages and overcharging?
So no, not lie, just... mislabel.

author=DyluckWe ain't perfect but we surely are no Walmart!

If you showed the total number of people currently viewing the site, both ones with and without an account, that might address both concerns.
Personally I don't think it matters that much either way. The majority of people that come in are just looking for free games to play, and don't really care about the community aspects.
