A PSYCHOLOGICAL INQUIRY - THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SUBMISSION AND SELFLESSNESS

Tips from pizza delivery are boss. I was getting 20+$ in tips in short 3 hour shifts. It's true I have to pay for gas but the tips more than cover that. It helps to get paid under the table too xD
I like how this topic turned into a tip discussion :3

F-G have you ever said anything good about anything american
I've never seen it, but then again, I've never said anything good about anything British. Mostly because they never say anything good about us :(
What's your problem, man!? i mean, men?! It's just ONE world!
editing . freedom of speech is an oustanding quality in Great Britain (which Americans have inherited, by the way!), as well as some excellent press (along with the worst), which are a real counter power to the political power (which is equally very similar in the United States), Americans (apart from having excellent hamburgers and ice cream) are remarkably social (the necessary melting of the pot!), and are an equally remarkably (on the whole!) healthy people (the ethnical mix) and their jazz is a unique contribution, what else?

LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I feel kind of awful when I go to Steak & Shake and sit down for a $6 meal, and then tip the waiter 85 cents. Even though that's 15%, I feel like a total cheapskate.
You could use a bit of discretion and tip them more...
I live in Australia so I get out of this tipping stuff. :D

employers should pay the employees the amount their job is worth instead of shifting the burden/responsibily onto the customers. this paying under minimum wage and expecting staff to be able to make up for it through tips sounds kinda shocking.
plus this 20% tip thing is unfair in regards to buying more expensive food. some dude buys a really expensive wine and gets charged exceptionally more than a guy who buys orange juice. it isn't like the waiter has tried harder either way yet they'll expect a larger tip from the wine person? am i getting this right? sounds silly.

Yeah it's dumb and stupid.
I don't even give a tip if I'm out of town or otherwise at a restaurant I'm not planning on eating at again any time soon. It's not like they're going to remember me a year and a half from now when I go back. So why should I give them money if I get nothing in return? Tips are a suggestion, not a law.

oh i see, i didn't know that.
but then why does it seem like waiters/waitresses act like if you don't tip you're the devil when apparently they're getting minimum wage and more? you don't see that in many other customer service positions.

Waiters get paid way below minimum wage. The the money they get from tips makes up for it; and more. A well paid waiter at the end of the day makes far more than a person getting paid min. wage.
