DO YOU HAVE REAL FRIENDS?

You should tell the people you're getting drunk playing vids with that they're not your friends.
They'd love that.
Most likely at least three quarters would be "Okay, I feel the same way. We're acquaintances."

Not in my case. Of course, they are my friends.
What I like about friendship (out of topic somewhat), is it does not have to be "good" people (not horrible of course), just something, really unexpected triggers the friendship, with the enormous advantage over love that you're not going to have to live with them, which leaves your appreciation very objective and free, and your affection too, like some sort of absolutely free gift of life, thar you're not going to do anything practical or useful with, just enjoy the feeling, if you see what I mean.
Yes, but when you see it clear as day, u're never "trapped" and it can even , if the person's your friend, become somewhat lovable, that's what I mean!(up to a point, of course!)
I think Feld gets what I was saying really well. My definition of a friend is someone who has your back in any and every situation, and of course, the favour is returned and you've got their backs.
It's a bit much to ask of someone you'd say "Yeah, I'll hang out with you." and I think it's something that you'll only ever achieve with a select few people. I think someone said 'acquaintances' earlier, and that's pretty much the perfect word.

Someone, like... Feld?
Anyway, I'm not sure if I have "friends" (people I'd trust and support through thick-and-thin, and would do likewise), but I certainly have "acquaintances" (people I hang with).
Speaking of friends:
Me: "Happy birthday ____! Any plans?"
Birthday Boy: "Thanks, nah nothing, just my 19th birthday"
Random Friend: "Happy birthday ____! Sorry I couldn't make it last night!"
...maybe I am a bad person? :(

"A friend will help you move furniture, a best friend will help you move a body."
That is the golden rule of determining who your friends are.

that is a really interesting way to look at it.
I'm gonna say that to know who your real friends are, just act like yourself, and if someone comes to you and helps you, or hurts you because of the way you are, that's how you'll know. I don't have many friends, at least in my grade, and I have a girlfriend who doesn't trust anyone but me and her friends, unless you count the parents of eachother(me and my girlfriend) because that's another group that we both trust. There's a friend of hers that bullies me and threatens to break me and my girlfriend up, and Julia doesn't believe it, let her be, she'll see when it happens, if all those 7th/8th graders aren't actually my friends, then I'll know when something goes wrong or I notice something wierd about them. You just may not even know at times!

You are 12, you know nothing about relationships.
