RMN'S FONT SIZE

It's been bugging for a while now but why is the default font size on this site so small? It strains my eyes so I always zoom in, it doesn't take much effort on my side to do that but still, it'd make the site look more legible IMO. Is there a good reason behind it like fitting all the text within a constricted space or is it because most people here wear (or want to wear) spectacles?
you gettin' old.
(I prefer the smaller fonts myself, and I have no problem reading RMN. What about others?)

I as well like smaller fonts.
Would it be hard to implement one of those font size changer deals in RMN4?
Heh, 6660 makerscore.

Hold CTRL, use the scroll on your mouse. How hard is that, really?
EDIT:
Also, my vision is perfect and the font is an ideal size. I guess RMN is designed for people who don't fail at sight ;)
My vision is perfect as well. This site is the only site I frequent that decides to use 8/10 pt and yes I know how to use the zoom-in function, I'm using it at the moment coupled with Stylish so no biggie.
I always found it to be too small. It's ok for posts, but reading reviews or articles is tiresome. Sometimes I copy-paste to MSWord (because zooming means horizontal scrolling, which sux).

Glad I'm not the only one. I don't get horizontal scrollbars as I zoom in only once but zoomed-in pictures on articles and reviews are annoying. Oh well.
At times I have to highlight the line of text I am on to focus on it. That being said, my vision isn't all that great. I am defiantly farsighted.

If you're using firefox you can turn image zooming off, so it only zooms text.
