Wilfred the Hero - Loved the music, the art,the story and everything. It was short though.
Unterwegs in Düsterburg - ...
Ateria - Kontinent der Schatten - Has it's charm with nifty graphics but the story was a little bit dull.
Space Funeral - YOU KNOW IT'S GOOD.
Aurora Wing - Nice Battle System, played it for hours as a kid.
Dragon Warrior IV: Renaissance - Delicious Dragon (Quest) Warrior
game.

The Way series
Speak No Evil reminds me somewhat of persona

lovehate
Yume Nikki - Visuals are great, but too much of boring and monoton gameplay/story never get's me. Same for scary girls. I wish these game where movies or books or something else than a game.

Dhux's Scar - over-the-top religious overtones? fuck that. If I want something with overwhelming religious folderol I just watch the italien ministry channel.

Most Loved
A Blurred Line: I still love the writing and like many before me I am still writing Lys letters to get him to finish it
Sunset over Imadahl: This is THE RM2k game, if you want to have great writting along with tough chalanges, although I did cheat to get past the button mashing part.
Hellion: Its good for an relaxing afternoon.
Visions and Voices: Reason Unknown. Atmosphere.
Yume nikki: The atmosphere dragged me in.
Leigon Saga 2: Because it was one of the first few RM games that was good to me.

Confused Feelings
The Way: Ending seemed rushed and parts of it just... Were very well done.
Space Funeral: This was like a bad trip. (And I know bad trips) but it still has a strange feel.

Most Hated:
Extrensa Messiah: It was underdeveloped, but it did have a mystic type of feel, but I HATED the fact that it was buggy and never finished.
Battles and Trials: What? 37 endings in a terrible game that featured endless mazes and Mr.T. I hated it.

I dislike Dragon Quest (I regard it a blight on the jRPG genre) so it's no wonder I didn't enjoy HR, like, at all.
Dragon Quest IS the jRPG genre...
Yeah... it kinda was where it started.

And where it stayed for DQ. But this isn't the place to discuss this topic. It's LOVE AND HATE ARE TWO SIDES OF THE SAME COIN.

Dragon Quest is everything I dislike about jRPGs. It contains all the least fun aspects of the genre with none of the fun or interesting.

Yeah in DQ something is missing...

Maybe to few yaoi scenes or lolitas for your flavor?

I never knew what the hell was happening in Demon's Legacy. First we control RTP Claus in a FF6 environment and hours later we're some random squire who is, for no apparent reason, assigned into defeating a hooded pedophile creep who practices voodoo and dark majicks.
It's one of RM games I like the least.

Well, that depends. If you're used to the flash-bang, super-ambitious gameplay systems/storylines/set-pieces of, say, a Final Fantasy game, then it is true that Dragon Quest is relatively pretty dull. Same comparison with the moral ambiguity and thematic weight of Shin Megami Tensei, or even the complicated emotional mixes of the Mother games.

What Dragon Quest games do have, though, is heart. A lot of it. If you have no idea what the hell I'm talking about I'd suggest reading over some of the articles that Jeremy Parish (creator of Gamespite, editor-in-chief of 1up) has written on the series. Some of the tricks that, for example, Dragon Quest V pulled off in terms of gameplay/story integration have yet to be really equaled by any JRPG released not named Mother 3.

Anyway sorry to harp on an off-topic tangent that has nothing to do with either loved or hated RM games, but I thought it really deserved to be said! I'll shut up now.
