Is there a way of using rpg maker or playing rpg maker games other then computer...
i did some research and found easyrpg, but you need custom firmware (which I've seen someone use but it wasn't very good).
There are other ways to play rpg maker on psp (i think) but haven't tested it yet.
I heard you are also able to install windows on psp...
wouldn't it be cool going up to your friend and saying "hay look at this game i made on psp" or some other form of console.
But the main issue is weather or not you can play rpg maker other then computer...

Nah You can't. There was a group that was working on doing it, got pretty far, but they haven't made any progress for a few years now so I think they just gave up.
There is an RPGmaker for PS1, which would work on CFW.
And custom firmware is pretty much identical to the official firmware.
Just stick with computers.

Enterbrain released an RPG Maker DS in Japan, but I doubt it will ever come stateside. :/ If you know Japanese, track a copy down by all means.
I haven't been tracking the console evolution in recent years...
But aren't they practically running desktop-like operating systems in the background right now? As in, isn't the Xbox just using a tailored version of Windows while the PS3 is using a very PC-like OS?
The line between console and PC seems to be getting thinner and thinner. It wouldn't surprise me if a future console outright lets us play our old RPGMaker2k games without any sort of modding.

I have no idea why you would want to use rpgmaker on a psp.
There has to be absolutely zero benefit of doing so, unless I'm missing someting.

It would be awesome to *play* RPG Maker games on a portable though. Like the other poster said someone was working on a RM2000/2K3 player for PSP but it was never finished.
There is an RPG Maker to create games for Android phones called IR Maker or something like that ... but the player app for it doesn't work well with most current phones. The player software is still on the Android app store, though.
For PSP the PSOne RPG Maker and custom firmware is the only option.
It's too bad as a PC RPG maker to *create* games for portables would be cool.

Well a PSP can access the net, and also is like a small computer that can hold videos, music and images. If done right, it'd be just like the one on the computer, just portable.
