GUESS THAT GAME!

OK, the game was Big Karnak for the arcades. I honestly thought it was a bit more popular, but I guess not :D
arcades still exist?
EDIT:
here, I'll lob an easy one:
The cast of Disney's Robin Hood reenact various scenes from Star Wars.

LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Can't let you do that, Star Fox.

This is the only sports game I've ever played where you could attach a rocket to the ball and fire it over the other team's heads. Dial the wacky meter up to eleven.

Keep guessing! There is a clue in there that points to a specific game, not just the entire "wacky sports" genre.
If you are as old as me (and I'm 27), you've probably played the game.

Base Wars on NES was an amusing baseball game featuring robots. I don't remember if you could attach rockets to the balls, but you could definitely outfit your robots with weapons and battle a baseman for a steal. Other crazy sports games include Baseball 2020 and Mutant League Hockey... The latter of which I could never win legitimately and instead relied on chainsawing the opposing team's players until they forfeited.
I am pretty sure I know what game you are talking about because I cheated with Google. It's for SNES and features some of my favorite all-time favorite animated characters. I have never actually played it.

This is the closest guess so far.

It was Looney Tunes B-Ball, I'm giving it to kentona since he was closest.
Kentona, you're up.
Kentona, you're up.
The most effective defense was to punch your opponents in the face. And the most potent offense was being on fire!
Pokemon
If I'm right, I will take my turn, so here's my clue if I'm right, 3 simple words:
Knuckles and Nails.

Punch-out. If you need the specific answer, possibly Super Punch-out because counter punches were more of a prominent game mechanic.
