First of all, it's a completely invaluable tool, and I can't thank you enough for making it.
Second of all, I was wondering if any similar programs exist for any other games on this site at all? I would especially love to have some sort of save states with Super Mario Bros. X for one.

Update: New features! You can now use Alt+F11 to open the game menu even whn it's disabled (again, press Shift+F11 if you have a black screen), and you can do a full healing by pressing Ctrl+F11!
By the way: To use a different F key instead of F11, start it with parameter /F1, /F2, ...
@moderators: Could somebody change the thread title from "Save..." to "Save & heal..."? I think I can't do that myself.

I prefer a game that has save points as opposed to saving anywhere, because save anywhere seems to make a game a little too easy. That said, what I don't like are games that will literally hold you from saving at some points for hours on end (I'm looking at you, Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy series). That just kills a game for me.
"I've leveled up three times and got this that and the other! Where the fuck is a save point! I want to go to bed/get some work done/get some writing done/read my book now!"
