Be prepared then for a very mopey story.
I can take a semi break from nintendo quest. I will complete a little more of it when I want to.
This then, well all I have to say is the ending will possibly be highly fictitious.
O.k...so you're signed up?

What's Oracle of Askigaga? And what IS the right time, all I was doing was making an interesting journalism game contest for the holidays! LOL
To say the least, it's a game that would take quite a bit of revising before I post it here. Should I do so, perhaps you may see for yourself? Not as an official entry into this event, but perhaps as a "spiritual entry"? However, I was hoping to take a short break from game-making in general after releasing the demo of Arbiters From Another World. Thus, the possibility of me working on Oracle any time soon is negligible at best.
You think it'd make more sense to turn this into a single game? Something like those community puzzle games.
Each submission becomes a vignette of a holiday story that's strung together like one of those Garry Marshall ensemble cast holiday movies.
Or you could make a living room with an open fireplace. Every main character from the submissions is IN the room, minding their own business, drinking eggnog, etc. The player can walk around and talk to them to start that particular story/game.

Nice idea and all, but it sounds like a potential nightmare to actually implement, especially if submissions come in that aren't made in Rm2k3. I think you would have to know, in advance, how many switches, variables, items and even maps each game would require just to prevent a lot of game breaking glitches that would arise if you lump a bunch of projects in on each other.

Befuddled turned out fine... all 5 times.
True enough. I guess I could always just use pointers to throw any values I need to store beyond the 5000 limit so that there would be less potential for cross contamination in the end product.
