I thought it was okay...It's always been like square to remix that piece of music.
I like to think of it as one long-lasting joke! It's kind of funny seeing how little and how much one song can change!

Gah! Where is Ukelele le Chocobo in that thing? And the best of all Chocobo tunes is still Mambo de Chocobo, no matter what anyone says! ...I mean, these kind of reprises at least make sense, but that Metal one is awful! That's the kind of thing I'd expect from a bunch of stoner friends' garage band or something. <- 'Hates' Metal music.

Mambo de Chocobo has always been my favorite, agreed! Also, I wasn't implying that it was the best thing ever- just that I felt it was okay. Besides, there are 3 other chocobo themes in XIII-2. You only hear that one once, and on a certain optional chocobo.

While that was compelling to read, and there were points I agreed on, I definitely didn't agree about their opinion on the battle system.
Anyway, I'm not going to really go one way or the other until I play the game.

i agree with Gourd_Clae. Let's wait until we play the game.
From what i've read, towns are somewhat unintereractive, as you can't enter towns or shops.
But, the biggest improvements i've seen are the systems, as the only things going for the original was the battle system, which was ok, but gets old after 100+ hours.
I'm getting this game because i liked 13's story and systems, and i would love to see how they expand on everything.

Not at all excited for this game. I dont understand what goes through Squares head at times Versus was obviously something that caught the attention of viewer to even think of releasing at 13-2 before it was ridiculous in my eyes. Type-0 for the win, but then again I havent liked a FF since X.

Well, both Type-0 and Versus have just started full production, so yeah. That said, I'm looking forward to Versus ^^

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I just wanted to stop into this topic and say FF13-2 has been my most-anticipated game since I played FF13 and I am about as super duper psyched as a 12 year old fanboy.

Agreed! Hopefully it won't have some overly compicated way to get the happy ending like in 10-2....

Hmm, I actually like the idea "Blood Damage" has going for it. Preventing a certain amount of health from being restored sounds like it could spice things up a bit.

The Final Fantasy series to me has grown incredibly stagnant. Now to others thought it still is the leading force in today's RPG realm. Personally I thought the series jumped the shark after X 2... It's supposed to be that group of characters "Final Fantasy"... not a continuation to a weak game with an even weaker idea i.e "Singing Charlies Angels"
