I think so...and i found ff8 OK, just not good. 1,9, and 13 are the only things holding my interests in the series.
By the way, is anyone watching the japenese live feeds? I think one guy is replaying the game at 1.5x speed. Hilarious!

It was hard to take FFXIII seriously, and I don't think this will be any different, but for collector's value, I'll grab it anyway.

Did anyone see the DLC trailer? Apparently you can fight Lightning and Omega, and recruit them. (Huh, recruiting light, and dressing her up......)

I was really wondering, would recruiting Light make her a playable character like Noel or Serah, or a monster like the chocobos? If she was a playable character, she would have her own Crystarium, correct? If she was a monster, wouldn't you dress her up with accessories and stuff like that? How would that work?

Monsters are trained with items, not their own crystariums. Could you imagine if 100+ monsters had their own crystariums? It would destroy the game! You buy upgrades from some creepy lady named Chocolina.
What is she, a cross between a hooker and a chocobo? It certainly looks like it.

FF5 was a good game.
You can get Omega for free if you preorder it off amazon, like i did. The rest of the stuff you need to buy, but it is still unknown how much they cost. I'll have to check to see if there is anything new.
I don't find Chocolina creepy, just a little...nutty. I suppose items work, but that might be kind of hard too. Also, who's going to get 100+ monsters?!

You naturally get monsters by fighting them. (Luck based, yup. Just look at all the boards on gamefaqs raging about the fact Green Chocobos are impossible to get.)
How could items be difficult?

I thought Chocolina sounded hot at first because the name made me believe that she was made of chocolate or covered in it or something... But then I saw what she really looks like.
Please tell me that she is just wearing feathers and that they're really not a part of her. However, if she is wearing them then that implies that she killed a chocobo or supported the hunting of chocobos AND I AM NOT COOL WITH THAT ONE BIT.

If what Square calls fanservice means killing a chocobo and sticking the feathers on some creepy australian girl. (Thank god that didn't happen to Vanille.)

The Japanese got it for free. I have my fingers crossed they'll do the same thing in the US.

About 30 more days to go, guys....There is not much info to add...except you can apparently recruit Chocobos in the party.(Color correspondent, no less!)
