Yeah dude!! Absolutely!! I was hoping you'd ask actually. However, I made this version specifically for RMN cause 640x480 videos tend to look better on this site. But yeah, I'll see if I can send you the video files over google drive or something, so you can upload it to the goblin grotto youtube channel or something.

- There's this version,
- a 720 version I uploaded to newgrounds,
- a mpeg1 version you can probably play in rpgmaker2003, and use to cross promote with crypt of the fungal lord.

and a 60fps version I figured out just now.

But yeah dude, this was a great game! I know it's already been featured and the expansion won a misao this year, but this game really does deserve more attention. GRIMPS feels like, the Metal Slug of arcade christmas puzzle games. Chara Animations are very hard to do in rpgmaker2003, but you were able to add so much charm and personality to these characters and have it move at such a brisk pace - just like Metal Slug!!!

But yeah dude, if I have some free time, I plan on doing a trailer for squeaking of the dead as well. Just for practice. Gryth's music in this was excellent, they feel like long lost tracks to the snes games live-a-live and FF6 respectively.

But yeah, I'll be in touch!

Everyone, please play this game, GRIMPS is like, the Metal Slug of Arcade Puzzle Games.
it's a very short and very cool game.
Super well done! I played the original version and loved it to death. I need to play the enhanced one sometime.

Also, you should fix my trailer up too.

(I'm joking lol)

I've thought about this actually, making a tutorial. But it takes a really long time to submit anything to RMN - which is very discouraging cause I'd rather be out there creating more stuff for you guys, instead of having to worry whether or not a submission went through.

If you guys are interested in this and want it though, I'll probably start a thread on how I do this stuff. But the long and short of it is:
- keep your clips length within 10 secs maximum.
- keep trailer length within 1 minute maximum.
- edit/use a musictrack that will tell you the most about your game in 1 minute.

*use Retro Commercials/Nintendo Virtual Console Trailers as reference material
to learn what players are looking for when describing your game in the shortest amount of time.

Having these loose restrictions in place, will help you to create better trailers, because it will allow you to focus on the more important part of your game and create a more effective pitch to your audience - you are not selling a game, you are selling the experience your game creates in the shortest amount of time.

...If you guys want me to go more indepth with this, with examples: Let me know, I'd like to start a thread on this,
revise it through community feedback and then submit it as a tutorial to RMN.

But if no ones interested in this, I'm not going to do it - It's just...it's frustrating to have worked so hard on
stuff like this, and have no one respond to it, when I could be using that time to create more stuff.
