Upgrading the Aesthetics 9/21

I am more than happy with how the development of Tape One is going. All of my previous games up until now have been practice for an episodic game like this! I've fallen in love with the story, the characters, the puzzles, just everything. and I hope that anyone who plays it finds it as cool as I do.

As of right now all the bones and muscles of the game are implemented (dialogue, gameplay, storyline). All I have to do at this point is to make the game look like my style. This game means too much to me to just let it be shadowed in default faces and tile sets, so I'm planning on designing them myself.
Although it's going to be a lot of work, I believe that it's worth it. Not just because I plan to put a price on it but also because bringing it as close to my original vision as possible would really bring everything together. I've already started to design some of the character's faces. Here's just one example of a character named Jaime.

I've only started doing digital art about a half a year ago, so I still have some learning to do, but for what I'm looking for style-wise with this game, I think it's pretty alright. Not to toot my own horn but, toot toot.
More blog and image gallery updates to come!
That's all for right now,
-Courtney

Keep up the good work and always go for the vision you seek! It's awesome to see someone loving what they create. :)
