Wake Up!

Alex, the hero, goes on a quest to defeat the evil Demon King and save the princess from his tower. But after defeating the Demon King, he faces an unexpected--and unlikely--enemy. Can he manage to dislodge this foe from his path, and save the princess? One thing's for sure: he can't fall asleep on the job!

Made for the 68th Mini Jam on Itch.io, Wake Up! is a short, textless (except for the credits, of course) RTP-based kinetic novel made in RPG Maker 2003. Rather than relying on words, Wake Up! uses pictures, sprites, and sound design to tell its story. Featuring graphics from the VIPRPG wiki, White Screw Shop, and REFMAP. Also features music & sound from On Jin, Moonwind, TAM Music Factory, White Music Hall, and MaouDamashii.
