I've updated the "Cross Demo" to a new build, which is a rather large bulk of the content of the game. I'd say around 90% of it. This update also makes the game self-reliant, and should not require VX Ace's RTP to run.
As for the other 10%, the main concern is the sequence of events that lead to the end of the game, as well as maybe implementing some other side-stuffs for players to do. Saying that, I'm not entirely certain what kinds of side-stuffs to include. For what it's worth, the game has six repeatable bounties to hunt for a bit of EXP/money, but, the idea to include my implementation of Arcomage hasn't completely died off.
Whatever might happen to this game, I've been giving a non-zero number of thought cycles to retiring from gammak. It may very well be a fake quote from Mahatma Ghandi, but, "Make the game you want to see in this world" is a statement that I just don't feel applies to me as it may have once did. I am very much aware that I have said that <GAME_XYZ> might be my last, only to make another gamewithin the context of an event to get more of an MS boost than normal. Which may yet happen again. However, at the same time, if a full year passes from when this game is complete with no further new gamepages from me, the writing was on the wall. Saying this, I want to be frim that even if I do end up retiring from gammak, such would not be a goodbye to RMN. I will continue to be here to help in what humble capacity I can for as long as it is possible for me to do so!

To be completely and 100% honest, I have no idea what might come next beyond the point where the current release basically ends. The original idea that became this game was more akin to a visual novel where the player avatar was doing various increasingly impossible tasks, which gains favor with the Othait court. Eventually, his esteem would would be such that he would be named a hero, and be given the Princess' hand in marriage with the best ending.
However, with that idea, the player avatar would be the titular interloper. With the way the game pans out currently, that's just not going to work, and I have to come up with something else. I just don't know what. I apologize for this lack of planning on my part. For what it is worth, it is beginning to dawn on me that, perhaps, I've become more a person of action than ideas.

I've the makings of a plan for the end-game. The way I imagine might be similar to the end-game of Might and Magic 2. For reference purposes, the dungeon is called Square Lake. This dungeon is effectively a map that loops onto itself, creating a long corridor with staged encounters every so often. Near the end is a fight against somewhere between six and eight enemies (I don't remember the precise amount).
However, as a point of interest, these enemies are called "Sheltem". These are likely some kind of clone units of the Sheltem you are hunting down in MM1, 3, and 5.
After that, players can reach the end of the corridor, and are prompted to decipher a code that activates the end-game sequence. What I'm imagining for this game aligns with this idea insofar that the objective of the game would be at the end of the tunnel, and possibly a fight guarding said objective. More than this is kinda ephemeral at this time, but, it is my hope to get this done by the end of the month!

Okay, folks. I'm not 100% happy with how the games ends, but, there is an ending now! Maybe I can come up with something better later, but, I'm certainly more than ready to put this project behind me. Thanks again for your silent support of this project! Please consider nominating this game for the Misaos as a show of support, or, better yet, if you think it actually deserves a nomination/vote!
Looks like there were still a few bugs in this game in regards to the Teleport Orb. ;_;
Valenrish Palace and Oakenreach can remain unlocked, even if you visit them! I could not 100% determine why visiting Feleton Place allowed it to be unlocked when it uses the exact same event-commands as Valenrish Palace and Oakenreach. What really confuses me is that there was at least one test where Valenrish Palace got on the list? I've since added a little extra insurance that the trigger can happen, but, please let me know if the bug persists.
I also thought it might be good/smart to hide the ECN bar when the credit-roll occurs. XD
Sorry for the inconvenience, and there should be an update sometime tomorrow!
