Talín Update | June 10, 2022

ENGLISH

Two enemies were nerfed.


-Nerf to the Orc King:

Attack reduced from 75 to 65
Now has a chance to use Absorbing Strike every 3 turns instead of every turn.

-Nerf to the Black Butterfly

Attack reduced from 43 to 38
In addition, his Acid Saliva skill now poisons instead of causing blindness.

Minor general adjustments:

-Now breaking rocks with the pick and cutting weed with the machete is done instantly instead of asking if you want to do it or not, it really was an unnecessary question.

-The church was made two tiles narrower to make it a little more consistent in relation to its exterior appearance.

-Changed the text that says the farmer next to the fireplace on the second floor of the armor/weapon shop (English Version only) because it might seem unintelligible to some.

-Now when using the stairs that are inside the Main Building, just like the ones in the armor/weapon shop, they have a Fade out/Fade in effect, something that all interior stairs had except for these.

Se hicieron nerfeos a dos enemigos.


-Nerfeo al Rey Orco:

Se redujo su ataque de 75 a 65
Ahora tiene la posibilidad de utilizar Golpe Absorbente cada 3 turnos en lugar de cada turno.

-Nerfeo a la Mariposa Negra

Se redujo su ataque de 43 a 38
Además su habilidad Saliva Ácida ahora envenena en lugar de causar ceguera.

Se hicieron pequeños ajustes generales:

-Ahora quebrar rocas con el pico y cortar monte con el machete se hace al instatte en lugar de preguntar si se quiere hacer o no, realmente era una pregunta innecesaria.

-La iglesia se hizo dos tiles más angosta para que sea un poco más coherente en relación a su aspecto exterior.

-Se modificó el texto que dice el granjero a un lado de la chimenea en el segundo piso de la tienda de armas/armaduras (Versión de inglés solamente) debido a que para algunos podría parecer poco entendible.

-Ahora al usar las escaleras que están dentro del Edificio Principal, al igual que las de la tienda de armas/armaduras tienen efecto Fade out/Fade in, algo que todas las escaleras de interiores tenían a excepción de estas.

Progress Report

UPDATES - June/15/2021

Main changes:
- Now the official language of the game is English, although it is still available
in Spanish.
- In order to improve the appearance of the game, a very subtle haze has been added
to most of the maps.
- The menu options "load game" and "exit" were removed as they were not very
relevant to the player experience, and "objectives" were added to allow a
sequence of the story and the actions to be carried out.
- A new area was added to the building (now called the main building) and with it
three key characters for the objectives and story of the game.
- The map and the monster book are now obtained early in the game by completing
objectives.
- The text boxes have been darkened to make reading easier.
- Added an intermediate scene when completing the last objective of Talín, and
another when finishing the game defeating the last God.
- More hidden objects represented by glitter were added to encourage exploration.
- Now your teammates follow you in line.
- To speed up the gameplay of the second phase of the game, avoiding having to
train by killing the same enemies several times, you now level up faster.
- The equip action has been added to the store and now has a more detailed
interface for equipment.
- Now the poison is removed after each fight.
- Nilas's first two abilities have merged, generating one that heals and removes
poison at the same time.
- The syringe is now "Throwing Knife": Instead of absorbing damage, it attacks all
enemies for 50 less damage.
- More attention has been paid to accessories, prices and effects have been
adjusted, plus two can now be equipped for each character instead of just one.

Regarding the battles:
- They are now faster due to the smoother animations and the removal of the
beginning and end texts.
- The combat music was removed and replaced by the BGM of each map.
- The background tone was made a more neutral color instead of dark.
- Enemies are no longer still images.

Regarding mathematics:
- Hurricane Arrow's bonus damage increased from 120 to 150 and its mana cost
adjusted from 30 to 38.
- The skill "Life" now restores 800 HP instead of 250.
- Assault mana cost increased from 60 to 70
- Crossbow Shot mana cost increased from 80 to 90
- Nilas's mana and mana increase rate decreased by 15%
- The attributes of some Gods were balanced.
- The enchanted potion now costs 500 instead of 1000.
- Buying experience now costs 7000 instead of 8000.

Less relevant changes:
- The sprites for "mission bosses" and orcs have been changed.
- The home screen interface has been changed.
- Actions in combat: attack, abilities, defend, and items now include an icon.
- Small bugs fixed.
