Manga Carta 2 is a continuation of a small project made in RPG Maker 2003. Several years after the premiere of the first part, I decided to check my skills again.

In a short tech demo, I implemented 12 cards from which we can freely construct a deck. The game features fully scripted duels. In addition to the card deck mechanism, the player can get boosters with new cards, increase card experience levels and wander around the train car in search of opponents.

The mechanics of the game are currently based entirely on Mighty Party, but work on its creative development is already underway. In future versions, there will be cards that take up more board slots, spells, and the ability to change terrain effects.

I am creating the game in Polish, so the English translation may contain errors. I will be grateful for catching any problems or bugs.

I played it. It's really good.

First thing you will see when you enter that world is how much effort was put to make everything clean. Animation, menus, transitions all looks and works great. Every card have it's own skill, so making good deck i crucial for winning.

Pro tip: Use Frieza. He's god damn OP.

Thanks, mate. It took me a long time to make everything consistent with each other. I have often adjusted everything pixel by pixel.

Yes, Frieza is pretty good. Hinata also have skills that heal the player. They are essential in the first duels.

In terms of refining the details, this is probably one of the most polished RPG Maker games I've ever seen. I can't wait to see future versions of this and see if it will fulfill its potential.
