I played through this and have some thoughts on it:

These characters are really cute, especially Crabby himself. His walking animation is delightful. The story is simple but charming and I was always glad to meet a new character and see what they had to say. And just mental images like a crab making a sandwich or an octopus playing a Game Boy are very funny.

I started off intending to take notes as suggested, but stopped once it became clear that all the ingredients could be found just by talking to everyone and picking up everything. Remembering where to bring items was more of a problem than who to bring them to, so drawing a map might've helped more than anything else. It took me 31 minutes to finish the game just by muddling my way through it; I don't think it would've been faster if I were stopping to write things down, but it might have been more fun?

There were a few times where I found an item before meeting the person who wanted it, which led to some weird exchanges where Crabby was fulfilling a promise he never made, and also meant I missed that character's initial dialogue.

Some of the text is a bit dodgy. In particular, there were many instances of "your" instead of "you're", and some where the sandwich Crabby wants to make was called a "Reubens" rather than a "Reuben". This could be intentional, as a lot of old Game Boy games had errors like that; if so, well done!
