2.0.1 is out! + 2.0.2

It's finally here, the first version of Meteo Chronicles R, v2.0.1.1! It's been quite a journey, hasn't it? I intended for this massive update to come out in February, but sadly that had to be delayed massively due to a change in engine near the end of February forcing me to redo a ton of crap. But not, finally, it's done. v2.0.1.1, which will allow you to play up to the end of Chapter 2 of this new version of Meteo Chronicles. Since the game is so long and so much has been added, I will be releasing two chapters each each month or so from now. The release order can be found at the bottom of the game page.

Anyways, you know how I said all version of MCR would be fully playtested before release? Well, I lied. I TRIED to playtest the game, but I couldn't finish due to me wanting the update out before my birthday (March 31st) and it being 10 PM on March 30th, the last day I had before the due date. I didn't want to delay the game another month, so I exported the game and tried to post it. Problem is is that the file sizes were too big, so that was cut off. Luckily, two days later, I was able to DRAMATICLY lower the file size by removing unused songs from the OST and compressing a large number of BGM files, so now the game should be ready to go.

Don't worry, the game isn't unplayable like it was in the OG Meteo Chronicles a lot of the time. I played all the way up through the first dungeon, and I can confirm that there's absolutely no bugs up to that point. I also checked the Chapter 2 areas and fixed whatever I could find, so that should be (mostly) good as well. So yeah, while I lied this time, I assure you that all future versions of MCR will be fully playtested before release. Anyways thank you for playing Meteo Chronicles R and I'll see you next time!

Edit: Due to an error being pointed out, I have also released v2.0.2 early, though it only includes Chapter 1-3 and not chapter 4 as well as planned. When 2.0.1 release, Chapter 3 was already mostly done so I was able to get out this update in only a few days. Hope you all don't mind.
