Things are bad. Rent is late, again. There's no food, again. Your parent-in-law needs medication, again. Life is relentless. In this ethically ambiguous title, it's time to set your morals aside, and do whatever it takes to survive. When all you have is nothing, you take from those who have it all.

Story

Dog Eat Dog: Scam to Survive follows the three-act structure. These distinct acts ultimately come together to shape the player's journey through urban decay, poverty, desperation and hopelessness.

Act 1: "Between Two Fires".

Our story begins with a loud knock at the player's door.

It's the landlord - Mr. Garcia - and he is demanding a large amount of money which he is rightfully owed. After a terse exchange in front of your family, the goal is for the player to pay off their debts with Mr. Garcia within a single week, or risk losing the apartment they share with their spouse, a parent-in-law who is very unwell and a 3-month-old baby.

Our player must set off into the city to begin work -- tech scamming random suckers in order to keep Mr. Garcia at bay, and look after their family at the same time. What the player must do may feel ethically ambigous and morally dubious, but in a dog-eat-dog world of competition, significant lack of job opportunities and gross inequality, what other options are there? What else can they do?
