This RPG Maker VX game was originally made by rpgex/En, also the creator of A New Little World (the hat world game). The Princess and the Rose Knight plays somewhat like a stripped-down and easier version of A New Little World.

Recommended Age 15+ (Lewd flirting)

You know those games with alignment gauges?
Well, this one has a yuri gauge.
It increases as you take more dialogue choices that involve the protagonist, Galatea, flirting with or outright propositioning other women.

Story:
In the country of Laomedia, a rich land surrounded by beautiful verdure, King Verdeukes V began plans for the wish of his daughter Atereaceae upon her 16th birthday.
In time, the Rose Knights, made up of commoners, were made the Princess Guard. The captain of this young band, Rozenkavelier Galatea, was not told of this until the preparations were complete upon the princess's 18th birthday...
Or so begins the prelude for this game. It follows the adventures and intrigue of Princess Ateraceae and her two knights over the course of a game that takes about two hours.

Enemies are on-screen that resolve into randomly-assigned sets of encounters for the area.
Combat is simple and resembles the side-view SaGa games in that weapon techniques can spark and replace the move you were going to make. Every weapon has two skills that the wielder can always use and the third that can randomly spark and be used at any point afterwards.

Characters:

Galatea:
She's brave and has good instincts, but is overly lustful and maybe not the brightest knight in shining armor. If you're familiar with Johnny Bravo-type characters, she's a bit like that except she's actually got game.

Revecca:
A knight who's the descendant of famous adventurers. She's loyal to her knight-captain Galatea, on whom she also has a crush.

Ateraceae:
The princess of Laomedia. She has a history of engaging in decidedly un-princesslike behavior, often much to the distress of her younger brother, the crown prince.

Daphnis:
Head of the Temple Knights, which in Laomedia function as something of a secret police. He's far older than he looks.

Note:
This game featured heavy use of added scripts in order to make the side-view battle system function. When I tried to change them, they ended up breaking the game, so you may still see some Japanese text in-game. If someone knows what I need to change to safely fix these (included in the screenshots) then please let me know.

Translators are the back bone of our society. I salute you, friend, thank you for your contribution to the site.
The download for the game is now added.
Sorry to anyone who saw it was up but couldn't download it yet.

I thought I caught everything that needed to be swapped over from Japanese to English, but there may be instances where the files need to be renamed due to the Japanese filenames corrupting. As with Random Dungeon, let me know if this happens. With this game, though, since it's so small, I left the Japanese files in there so every file that could need to be renamed is already in the game.
Game looks really cool but sadly it crashes when I try to go downstairs directly south from where you start the cave section at the beginning, looking like graphics are missing or something.

What does it say exactly?
I'm trying to find the untranslated graphic.

Not sure if this'll work but I'll try posting the image I get.

Alright, what you need to do is copy the file named !hiddenpassage01 and rename the copy as !隠し通路01

I'll be going through the entire game to fix all of these.

Of all things, the tiles to cover the hidden passages got me...

Hi,

And the choices for the dungeons are still in japanese:

Found the bug and hunted through the game for everything else I needed to find.
The problem with the choices for the dungeons is that they're hooked to an added script. When I tried to change them, the game wouldn't work at all. That's the problem with scripts written in Japanese, I guess. If someone with better RPG Maker VX skills knows how I might fix this, then I'd happily give it a try, but until then those dungeons are just in order of when you first went through them, and the newest one is always on the bottom.

The new version is uploading and should be available soon.
The game crashes in the sewers dungeon (third dungeon) after going down the starcases behind the fake wall in the magic circle room, so it is impossible to progress the story beyond that point. Didn't catch a screenshot, will try to do that later.

EDIT: Well, this is bizarre, I re-extracted the game and it worked (didn't even re-downloaded). I suspect I may have make a mistake and not been in JP locale when first extracting it. BE SURE TO EXTRACT THE GAME IN JP LOCALE.

Thank you for your bug report! To explain what happened, a hidden passage (which looks just like a wall but can be passed through in its event settings) had its graphics named in Japanese, which extracts into a different file name when opened in non-Japanese locale. My goal for this game was to make it so people wouldn't have to extract in Japanese locale, but as a result these things happen. I intend to test all future translations we release on a computer without Japanese locale before posting them (once I get said computer).

It should be fixed now. Hopefully there won't be any more errors.
