After a long journey to the mountains up north, Iora and Ry arrive at the home of the Great Sage, whose knowledge and wisdom were said to predate time itself. Unfortunately, she was met with a strange being instead, a marionette calling themselves the Wanderer. With her lover in no state to travel further due to the curse that she must be cured of, Iora was forced to rely on the Wanderer’s questionable knowledge of medicine, who was more interested in telling an unrelated tale of old love, self-discovery, and acceptance, leaving Iora to wander the mansion alone in search of a cure. Though, perhaps their circumstances and hers were not as different as she wanted to believe.

FTFT:I is a short continuation of Fateless Two, Faithless Thee. It is a simple kinetic novel with a focus on a story of romance, comedy and drama, without combat gameplay elements and with a little bit of exploration. The story is told in parallel between past and current time events. Though it continues the tale from where the last game left off, this game does not require players to understand the previous story to enjoy it. As it contains mostly just story elements, the game is not recommended for those averse to reading.
