Horizon Busters: Second Millennium ]I[ was made for the Boulevard of Broken 2k3 Dreams event with the goal of making a demo of a game in RPG Maker 2003. HB2M3's goal is to convey the power of RPG Maker 2003 while appearing like a normal 2k3 game with a blend of RTP assets, edits, original art to fill in the gaps, and a few rips along the way. I hope it feels like a 2k3 game made in the early days, with a few creative liberties along the way.


Horizon Busters: Second Millennium ]I[ is the second sequel of Horizon Busters (game does not exist). The impact of the World Wrecker Dragon in the first millennium, the Necroarchon attempting to destroy the world that culminated in The Day of Darkness in the second millennium, and now only ten years after the latest catastrophe the world is again beset by apocalyptic danger! Betwixt the rising star of The Empire moving to bring the world under the thumb of its Empress and the rising ocean levels flooding the land, the world is again in peril.

The Goddess has assigned Rose, a mysterious mystic once sealed in a subdimension, to find and guide the chosen hero Alex to save the world! The hunt for the Goddess' blade, the Dawnblazer, and the last elemental crystal that survived the Necroarchon's assault, Alex will need all the help he can get if he's to save the world.

It's time to bust the horizon!
