Something So Unique It Shouldn't Be Missed.

Since this was a short demo/game, this will be a short review.

I have always been a big fan of custom coding in rpgmaker 2000 and 2003. The problem being that not a lot of people take the time or put the effort into ABS' or CMS'.
That being said, out of the few attempts I have seen this is a very unique and fairly decent ABS, but I digress.

GRAPHICS: 5/5
The graphics are awesome and the maps are beautiful. There is a lot of attention the basic detail. The little things that a lot of people overlook. Everything meshes well and everything seems to move. I absolutely love the enemy and the hero. I'd love to know if they are custom or not but I like how the feet are so small and the bodies are bigger. It almost reminds me of Tim Burton.

GAME PLAY:4/5
It's short and sweet. The animations used for walking and attacking is great. My only complaint is that the walking is jagged. Maybe shortening the wait time for the custom walking system you designed might fix this.

MECHANICS: 5/5
I didn't find the ABS clunky or awkward. I loved it. All the mechanics were very polished. My only complaint that is when you enter finish the battle it tele-ports you back to the beginning of the map. I also noticed tat you used two separate maps in the editor. This is just a suggestion and personal preference, but I would have use variables to either track the hero and tele-port him back to the exact tile onto the original map or just put a defense barrier up when the battle begins.

OVERALL: 4.5
I think that anyone looking for some unique ideas or trying to learn how to design a custom ABS, then this is a must play. I'd like to see more rpgmaker games this style.
