Day by day life moves forward. People live their lives unaware that a single action of an individual may set in motion the rise of nations and the advancement of mankind, or the decay of society and the damnation of a generation. Yet life moves forward and history carries on as it was always meant to. With the grand scheme set in play, the time-line branches forth, event to event, yet always remains on the path set since the beginning of time.

However...there are moments in time, when events break from their designated purpose, and change certain outcomes drastically. These moments can fade to nothing, or they set into motion a series of events that severely distort the vision of life crafted by the gods. This is known as The Butterfly Paradox.

While Dante Almendros and Sienna Mahidani head to the capital of the Kingdom of Ascalia, they find themselves not only hunted by a creature of unknown origin and the mysterious Sisters of Chantrea, but also by the fatal flaws they carry and the past they couldn't leave behind. Sienna is in search for a woman she says to have"betrayed" her, while Dante is headed home in search for redemption. They soon learn that their very existence and every action they've made has put the Butterfly Paradox into play. One on a scale said to pull world into an eternal black abyss.

Updates and No Demo

Well continuing my yearly tradition of only posting journals every couple of months, rather than I say will, I'm back with some updates and important information I thought I should share with all of you.

First of all there was about a 3 month lapse between October and January where i wasn't working on AI the least bit, between real life money issues and lack of motivation it wasn't looking too good but since then I've been working steadily on AI and I can say progress is looking well. I'm in the process of laying down the base maps for the entirety of the game(just the floor tiles and the mandatory stuff). I expect to be on the next phase by the end of the month if everything goes well. After that I'm going to be decorating and eventing simultaneously. While doing that I'll be tweaking the little things that need to be well...tweaked. The battle system and battlers have BEEN finished and ready to go, as are the majority of skills, equipment and monsters. Setup and balancing is really all I have left for them that I can think of.

That leads me into an important piece of info that I've been meaning to share for a while if I haven't already.
Adela Isra isn't going to have a public demo released at any point in time. The only people who will be playing it before completion will be the beta testers I carefully pick, based on how carefully they can pick the game apart haha. This is the reason why I'm trying to keep hype down for the mean time. No point in teasing people for an entire year imo. So please don't ask when a demo will be released any longer, for both our sakes. Instead what I'll be doing as adding more to the game after it's initial release, as a sort of expansion to the game which you can plot your save file right into and have the access to the new areas.

I really wish I had more to add but for now you all can take a breather know that Adela Isra is still on track and the only thing I plan to work on until completion(because gosh knows there hasn't been any other event you'd need a breather for >_>.)

So, when are you updating the the Characters page with the new portraits?
Yeah I've pretty much been neglecting this page while working on the game and wrapping up the first demo. I'll probably have a major major update once everything ready to go. I still haven't finished doing the facesets yet =_=;
This game is breathtakingly beautiful.It has enormous potential to become one of the best RMVX games out there. I'm going to subscribe right now.
Your mapping looks awesome looking forward playing this!
I heard this game is already released somewhere else?

Whatever happened to this?
Lol, safe to say(yet sadly) that this is either on an indefinite hiatus, scrapped, the creator lost interest, or just forgot about it.. :(

That is really sad. I hope it will be finished some day(even if the last update was very long ago).
I just stumbled upon an unencrypted demo of this and it was REALLY good. The mapping is excellent and they have great taste in music as well. Unfortunately the demo was super short, there was an intro, one (tiny) forest area, a town, and two other larger areas that were empty. But all the areas were very nice to look at. This page is clearly not getting any updates anymore but I will still subscribe on the off chance that it still exists. It's that good.
