There are so many things that would have made this image awkward to create, especially perspective-wise. But it's just.... so... perfect.... 0_0
I don't think anyone is bowing down on me or anything like that, they're just commenting on the art which I'm putting on heavy emphasis in Marian which is doing a setting-heavy, character heavy goal.

Nobody said they didn't approve the art here... At least I don't remember that happening. I told you guys to stop shitting your pants every time Nessiah posted something new. The art is very high quality and very good, especially for an RM game, but there's really no need for such bowing and praying like Nessiah is a god or something.
I think that's fair, personally I like to do the same thing. But I'm not really doing much towards it gameplay wise at the moment so I'm not posting a whole heap.
I think it's nice when the developer posts a log of the actual process, it helps inspire others since it doesn't seem like the game was simply pulled out of thin air. You see the game as a product of laboring and hard work and take that into account as the game progresses, which I reckon makes it a more enriching experience.

To be honest, the reason I'm updating marian so often is like it's a Development log, I want to show what I do when making a game, but eh, to each one of their own if they want to check this out or not :s
The art reflects how much time, care and work is put into this game, atleast that's how I see it.
