Zombie-fying

Help me Leon!

Now, I was sure that someone mentioned they were curious as to how I was going to implement zombies.
They'll mostly be general enemies, weak against Holy spells/Curative Magic, slow but with incredible strength.
They'll be capable of inflicting nasty spells, too, like Blind and Poison, and come in various types.

Now this is pretty basic, FF fare. In order to give it an RE twist I have to do something a bit different.

There will be zombie-specific maps with respawning enemies that chase you- these will be the only maps without random encounters. You're going to be really unlucky if you encounter one of these by chance, because they are, after all, extremely slow. They will be heading towards your player at all times, so there is a chance of getting mobbed if you stand still for too long.
On some of these maps there will be 'rare' spawn enemies. You'll be able to notice there presence because if one is on the map, the sound of a chainsaw or grunting will be heard upon entering.
Yeah.
This indicates there's an extremely powerful zombie nearby. And these aren't slow at all- they are extremely fast and incredibly powerful (it will take an over leveled team to defeat these bad boys). The chainsaw wielding ones, if caught in a battle with them, are even slower than the usual zombie enemies- but if they get a turn, they'll insta-kill one of your characters. They've also got buttloads of HP and high Defense.
The other type could even be called worse. They are fast in battle, deal extreme amounts of damage, and are only vulnerable after hearing a extremely loud noise. To compensate there is a 'Scream' materia.
They're almost impossible to damage through normal means if a Scream skill is not used first.

There will be one level where fighting chainsaws will be absolutely unbypassable- the town of Oak, where the Bella Sisters are guarding the exit of a map that you need to go through.
These will not be as hard as the general chainsaw ones (they won't always pull out insta-kill and will do other damage instead. Two insta-kill inflicting enemies is just cruel.)

The great thing about these enemies is that their drops are extremely valuable. You can sell the stuff for a lot of money, ($3000, about) which in this game is a lot of money ('Potions' are about $12 in this game- that should give you an idea).
They also occasionally drop rare accessories. True hard-core gamers would be after these like they were their favourite food.

This is -mostly- based on RE4, where this game gets the most inspiration. The story itself gets inspiration from the RE series as a whole, but I have only played 4 in great detail.
Plus it's still said to be the best RE so *shrug*.

If anyone has any other suggestions as to adding zombies, what I should change/add/leave out, please comment! I love getting feedback ;).

Also, as an ending note, solely zombie-based maps will have darkened screens (not too dark, though) with mainly lights to guide your path. I'll do my best to give those maps a creepy, horror-like feeling.
I'll try to warn the player when that's about to come up, though.

Oh, and whatever that FF8 zombie boss's name was- Gereogero or something- he's going to be in here, too.

TTFN, peeps ;).
Oh
I can't remember what they're called, but they're the second badass and the reason why I don't play RE4 at night time:
