Now, there is a few bad things about adding scripts:
One, you have to change you game to accommodate them.
Two...they can corrupt save-files. Which one did.
(actually I messed up the map data because I was organizing the maps. SEE, ORGANIZATION HAS ITS DOWNSIDES TOO!)
So I've spent ages playing through again. I think I might really work to complete really large scenes at once before testing them, because by the time I've finished I forget the dialogue/etc. I ended up absolutely laughing my ass off at a scene I had totally forgotten in the 'Fairgrounds' (Gold Saucer).
Which is probably bad because it's meant to be kind of serious there, but I think I was more laughing at 'I can't believe I forgot about this scene'.
I've also decided to put in the Summons properly and spent about and hour arranging Leviathan's sheet, and I'll be doing Bahamut's tomorrow.
The animations are by Ringo, and they use FFT images couple with Particle Illusion. They're pretty flashy, I must admit.
Plus I'm not releasing again until it's finished, I don't have to worry about the filesize until the finished version which is the main reason I abstained from the Summons in the first place.
You can see all the summons she did here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTzc301xwAg
However I'm not putting in all of them (that would be very, very retarded). These files are HUGE and I'm not stupid.
So far I have a vague idea of what I'm going to include. There will not be as many as any of the FF's CC derives from because they all had 10+ and each of these animation files is 10mb plus.
Yeah...
List:
1. Ifrit
2. Shiva
3. Ramuh
4. Leviathan (This one cannot be removed, at all, unless I make it a storyline reason.
If anyone bothered with the comic you'll know why)
5. Bahamut
Maybes:
6. Titan
7. Mog
8. Carbuncle*
On another note I'm looking for someone who'd be willing to help me out with scripts. I'll try and help you out back with something, graphics or whatever, I'll do what I can as long as it isn't money because I don't work.
The thing is CC's system is mainly incomplete. There's a few 'small' things that HAVE to be fixed before I can ever consider a release and there's others that would just make my day.
Necessary Fixes:
Materia Shop isn't working. I've tried putting in the call scene code several different ways, and I think it might be something to do with the script. I've tried looking for conflicts within both the script itself and the scripts around it (ordering, etc) but can't find anything.
Battle HUD URGENT: In order to be finished, the battle HUD needs:
A second window next to the stats with the names of the characters
The Actor display order change from 1,2,3 to 2,1,3.
Stuff that would make my day:
Specific skills. Namely Regen, Reflect(*If I were to put Carbuncle in), Zombie, Steal.
Limit Breaks (all scripts I've tried use the same (methods, I think) as Materia and thus I get Stack Level errors.)
Custom Commands, non-SDK (relies on what dummy element a skill is assigned- so Fire would be 'Magic' but if a 'Summon' tagged skill (Like Ramuh) was acquired 'Summon' would appear in the command menu.)
Party Switch/ Battle End menus customized to be fully three-man rather than having a blank space or an empty slot.
Stackable States (poison and blind at the same time!)
There's something I'm forgetting but meeeeh...
In other news, I've decided to not only have final weapons, but final armor too. Unlike all other armor and accessories, this stuff will be CHARACTER SPECIFIC. So only Kumo will be able to wear that armor.
However, it's extremely difficult to find and requires properly following the character's roots, etc.
(So Kumo's MIGHT be found somewhere in Miehlebin. Haven't decided.)
I've also decided to up the number of weapons found in this game for each character from 4 to 6. Attack strength is heavily reliant on the weapons in RMXP, unfortunately.
I'm reluctant to increase the number further because then I'd have to resort to making up weapon names for Levi, Kyer and Lulu. I already have to do that at 6 for the latter two.
If I did go higher, I'd probably look into FFXIII's weapon listing for ideas. I have the walkthrough, so...
Levi would get the names of Lightning's weapons
Kyer would get the names of Hope's
and Lulu would get Vanille's names.
The other characters, including the two secret, have an abundance of weapons to pick from so no worries there -.-
Tata for now, everyone~

Very interested in the Aeon GF's Summons Guardians or whatever you want to call them!
Just curious will we take control of the Summons or will it be like 8?

It'll be like VII, just flashy skills with high MP/Damage.
They also have their own specific materia (red)
