Haha, sprites on 3D backgrounds are the whole point of this game. The sprites will be in chibi while the character illustrations will be more normal.

Oh yeah, this one is also old. I actually changed Tetsumori's sprite several several times since this shot.

I actually really like sprites in 3D BG. I really, really do. But I, I have a Personal.... Pseudo-hatred towards VX's sprites, and ones in the style. >_<

Probably because I got kind of sick of them, or something. Gladly, it -is- just me. XD

I started out hating the super chibi look, but then I grew fond of it as the new-old-school sprite after I finished drawing Tetsumori.

Those VX sprites are drawn funny, for one they're a little lopsided to the right by one or two pixels if you look closely. Mine are centered though and I use stronger contrast.
