A desperate goddess attempts to change the outcome of her future by erasing a key moment in her life. Overestimating her own powers, this spell causes a dimensional "rip," shattering the walls separating individual realities and the world of the living from the world of the dead...forming a place far worse than one she could ever imagine...

Among those affected is former college student Buffy Summers. A fierce warrior and protector in her original world, she has lost all memory of who she is and what her life was like before the incident. Teaming up with Dean Winchester, Buffy is determined to escape this nightmarish world and return home...however, a dangerous force from hell has escaped due to this incident, and he will do everything in his power to stop them and claim this growing world as his personal playground.

Features:
- A cast of twelve playable characters, that can be swapped in and out of battle at will
- A "sandbox" gameplay -- in which you choose the order (or how much) of the story you wish to see, as well as who to recruit
- Semi-customize your characters by designating them to the weapon (or weapons) of your choice. Some characters can have up to 30-40 skills bare minimum, while others can have close to a hundred
- A fast-paced dark yet comedic storyline
- Multiple endings

I think I'm just about done

Going to test play the ending one more time when I get home from work, but other than that, the game is pretty much completed. Look forward to a release tomorrow at the latest! =)

Special thanks to the testers, particularly amziezelt. You picked up on things that totally went over my head.

Good o' fraps. Granted, I have the paid version.

The fraps videos are waaaaaaaaaay too big to upload though, so I convert the videos from avi to mpeg II which DRAMATICALLY decreases the file size.
The monster graphics are from "Cradle of Cyanide", http://www.hcn.zaq.ne.jp/cagzd200/

fucking pyschadelic man.
OMG no one was supposed to find out!!

Wherever they're from, they're definitely cool. I think they fit the game perfectly.
Why are we able to name the characters? That's a really weird decision, considering they're supposed to be people from popular shows and movies.
That's something I do in all of my stuff. Call it trademark if you will. =P

Besides, some people may like naming their characters, idk. I didn't really think much of it. If becomes too much of a bother, I can easily take it out.
Man, those bosses are HARD! I barely survive any of them. I don't lose, but I still use several revival and healing items. I'd probably have lost if Buffy didn't have the self-heal ability. If you make a guide for this game, could you give boss weaknesses and immunities?

Also, one small flaw, but you seem to have a glitch with character changing.

Again, nothing major, but it's still visible.
Thanks for pointing that out! I'm guessing it's problem with the scripting or perhaps a clash of scripts, so I'll work towards fixing that.

In the mean time -- and this is horrible -- but there's a way to change that around in the game itself:

But hopefully by the time the full game is finished, I would corrected that. If anyone's curious, I used Yanfly's Party Selection System script and Trickster's caterpillar script, so if you have some advice -- I'm ALL ears!

Re: Bosses
Yeah, I made the bosses challenging with the intentions of rewarding the players with a huge "Karma" and cash boast for surviving. If it's too much, I have no problem going back and making them easier. The very last boss of the demo last was deliberately designed to be an SOB though. =P

Also, the game definitely wants you to use those items, which is why it provides you with so many (hopefully). However, for the future release, I'll probably have someone in the dungeons to sell items to the players encase someone forgot to do some shoppin' before they entered a dungeon.

Lastly, the game actually does (or should have, rather) come with a Guide (another Yeaster trademark!). It's in a notepad file (just below the README). It mentions the elemental weaknesses and strengths for not only the bosses, but the normal encounters as well.

I appreciate the comments, MKID! If there's anything else you want to comment on -- by all means, let me hear read it.
Helps to know that all my physical attacks are useless in that boss fight. That means a party of Buffy, Xena, the Psychic, and Heather are perfect against Killer. So glad I picked Xena, then.
He's weak against Saltwater too, so Heather and Xena will be both be extremely useful there.

But be warned, all of his attacks are one-hit-kills (except on Buffy, due to her natural resistances to physical attacks). However, in comparison to most bosses, he has low BP.

He's an entirely optional though, so if you don't want to recruit a certain character later on, you can avoid him/run away if you're not prepared enough for the fight.
But I need to save room for Anya and one of those two others that I have no idea who you plan on using!
So skip 'em! =D

Or just fight for the experience but don't recruit him if you see him again.
Are you ever going to reveal the final two people? Or at least mention which universe(s) they come from? Because that'll help my decision making. Or have you not decided who, yet? I'm way too anxious! :(

One is a male
The other is a female
Both are from TV shows
One is currently airing
The other one is not
Wow, that made my decision easy. I'm taking the female!
lol at bad news. I have downloaded several full games, that were well over 3 GB, plus I have download demos of games, that were well over 600 MB. So why would 178 MB be that big of a deal?
I figured it wouldn't be that big of a deal to most people, but I still wanted to give players a heads up to avoid any complaints about it

True, though I feel sorry for anyone that it does effect. That can only mean one thing...

So you want people to get sexually aroused by this game?
