The Nagi thing was something that should be fixed in the latest version. Are you playing the beta?
To break the rocks, you need both the Staff of Destruction and ammo for it (Energy Spheres to be exact, they can be bought at the Tech Town Cig Shop), also there are certain rocks that require you to have the Staff to be upgraded at a certain level, once you finish the dungeon, it should be at its maximum level.

Use Inazuma Kick only when your character's sprite and the enemy's overlap.
The melon pan code will be given to you at the end of the credits.
And for the tetris thing, try and try again ^_^
well..at first,I didn't think that Nagi got any exp,but after I beat some creature on the boat sea,Nagi lvled up! O_O?
and where can I find this "Staff of Destruction" ? XD
thx a lot sunshinesan for making the game nevertheless n_n

Go to the pub in Tech town to get the coupon for the staff. You can then use the coupon and buy it at the cig shop in Tech Town.
Let me arrange my statement from before,Nagi SOMETIMES gets the exp distributed after battle
In worst cases, all of the time since when I watched the video "hayate no gotoku! season 3"she learned a tech even tough she wasn't within the current group
oh yeah,is A-tan gonna make appearance in the game
cuz she is hayate's ex-girlfriend n there's also her figure doll :3

thx a lot
btw,Sakuya's "tech lv 3 "Playing Tsukkomi says " Sacrifices Pure Power for health"
u got it backwards,:3
and during Hinagiku's transformation,I switched character resulting Isumi with the appearances of Hina's transformation and also, when I used "cursed doll" on the sea, the ship became Hermione, afterwards whenever I use the Crused Doll again,Hayate won't turn into Hermione n_na
I suggest that while casting of a tech, the caster is forbidden to switch character
okay.....
I've lvled up the staff of destruction to lv 3....
still can't destroy the rock ==a
all of the listed GP given of slots, only half of tem were actually given
izumi 4 ever nice XD
to aru kagaku no railgun needs 50 million tech points, lol

Either fix Nagi so that she gains no experience outside the active party (which is default), or fix the others so that they get experience while not in the active party (how Nagi currently works). I'm not sure how feasible the latter option is, but it would make the game less grindy.
I am a little confused at what you are getting at. Are you saying change it for the sake of fixing a bug, or a design flaw?

To my knowledge, this is how the experience thing works:
The active party of 4 will all gain experience upon defeating a monster, regardless of actual exposure to the battlefield, save if any of them are downed during the victory.
The rest of the bench warmers will not gain experience, Nagi is no exception, if she is benched (Though apparently there is a bug.)

I am contemplating whether or not to change is so that only the active character gains experience upon defeating a monster, to promote using your whole party, though this might make the battles more tiresome. Of course, the exp values will be altered if this change is implemented.

I am not, however, considering giving exp to everyone, including the bench warmers. Though you can change your party members at any times, I want the player's choice of party members to be an important one. So even if he/she can switch members whenever, it doesn't mean that character switched in will be ready for battle right away.

I was trying to present options on how to fix the bug that you might not have considered. Obviously, you do what you believe is right. Personally, I'm just as confused as to how Nagi would get experience if she's not in the active party.

Just the active character gets the experience? So are you thinking of something like Final Fantasy Tactics, where each successful hit grants a little bit of experience? That would be... interesting for party balance. I'm probably not the only one who abuses hit-and-run tactics with Hinagiku!
This game is so addicting.. I got all the skills of every character in the beginning of the game.. Had Isumi give Klaus a repeated beat down or a repeated mugging of gyen, tech points, and exp to get it..XD

I also wrote a review.. wonder when it will stop pending.. <.<

Hope this game finishes soon.. I'm a HnG fan @.@
Keep up the great work!
I plan to have this game finished within 9 to 18 months.

Define soon :D
Wow.. guess not that soon.. But I see it takes time to make quality games..

Also I just beat the 3.9 demo.. Now I'm sad T.T
My lvl 75 Hayate killed the cigerette ice boss in 1 hit E.E

Now I shall wait impatiently for the next update..

Btw.. I just gotta ask.. why is Tama's spirite appearance in the form of a brown dog? O.o
I currently do not possess the sprites of a anthropomorphic white tiger. The brown dog thing is a temp thing.

And yeah, the reason it will take so long is because I truly want to make the best game out of this. I am not being liberal at all with this time limit. The first two areas took roughly more than a half year to complete. I'm planning on having more than double the "areas" for this game, so hence the time thing.
downloading this ......95Mb...but it will be worthy, right??
It you are a fan, I'm going to gamble and say yes. If not, i dunno.
Also size = music
Lot's of great tunes though, relevant to the series!

Don't say that, sunshinesan! This game is enjoyable to non-fans! They might not get all the references, but it doesn't really matter. The game is still fun, in it's own right. Especially with the combat engine improvements I saw since last I picked this game up!
Haha, thanks a bunch Marrend.

I'm not going to lie, I think this is a great game, but it's just that my opinion is biased to hell, :P
Actually, I am a fan. LOL
I've watched the anime till the 2nd season and still reading the book up to 21
I've played the game. I got killed by the 1st boss..LOL. -> need leveling up to do.
The lame part might be the ABS since it is ABS in rpgmaker. The game lags during battle.
The coolest part, is that you can swap characters during battle.
Each char has his/her own unique attack.
I'm looking forward to try different char in battle.
So far, it is a cool fan based game.
Now that I have more experience with the maker, I can probably revamp the battle system so that it lags less, though that requires me to make a complete overhaul. This is not out of the question, but it would be a gruel feat indeed.

The only thing I regret about my ABS is lack of attack animations and blocky movement. Otherwise, I hold it above most DBS games; I essentially wanted the game to be different from the herd.
"risking his life for a girl"

Psssh. How stupid. You shouldn't risk your life for any girl, unless there's a 100% chance of getting laid afterwards.
