Here I sit in wait of my fate, the future meal of a thunderserpent. My companions gone, my heart betrayed and no hope of escape.
And who should appear but my tormentor, the scoundrel spirit Double-Face.
"Well well, the Village Not-so-Brave! It appears you are caught!"
"Be quiet Double-Face, for you delight in teasing the helpless ones. Your impish ways are of no interest or use to me."
"But I am most interested in you! Regale me with your travails and I may see fit to set you free."
I doubted the claim for Double-Face is a devious trickster, but I pondered my situation and decided that telling the tale would bear me no ill, so I proceeded.
"It was the 5th New Moon Day of the Spring and a terrible curse had befallen our village..."
The forlorn village Brave Red Hawkwind from the Buffalo Plains tribe recounts the tale of his journey to Dread Mountain in search of the boon needed to lift the curse on his village. He will face many foes but also find many friends, like the Ice Man from the beyond the mountains named Babby whom no one but Red understands, and the beautiful Chief's sister Running Fox from the rival Raven tribe whose dances commune with the spirit world.
Grab your spear and brave the dangers of Dread Mountain!
This game was going to be my entry to the Game Gale contest, except I failed. It is about 2 weeks worth of effort however, just non-consecutive.
...by which I mean, don't expect much.

I have uploaded the fixed version for all of you that were waiting on it. (I am guessing there were maybe 3 of you).

Script fix: Under Scene_File, line 244, there should be the line:
Slap an "or true" at the end of that to change it to

Kentona- I played the game for a while and had to get off of my computer. When I came back and loaded up my save game I got this error
I haven't played it yet besides fixing that bug, I just read this.
It has a date+time and everything in it

To seem less dickish, I'd rather wait for the finished product (or at least a beta with balancing) for a better experience. You can only start a game for the first time once!

Please forgive the horrid balancing. I hadn't even played through it yet when I shuffled off that version to you and have since make a ton of tweaks to skills and enemies.
