Kolteka is a story an old friend of mine used to use for all sorts of different RPG maker projects. This game is my ode to him and our childhood memories. The story is an ode to classic RPG's and therefore isn't earth shattering in concept. It's the story of two soldiers, Resten & Randy, who have grown up rivals. Things get dicey when a villain named Janus enters the picture and starts causing chaos and our heroes get called in to sort things out. This was indented to be a demo of the game. However, it will end up acting as episode one in the story. Enjoy!

Kolteka features:

-No Random Battles.
-A Solid 45min-1.5 hours of gameplay.
-Access to a debug room upon completion with cool bonus features.

I just got set up to finish Kolteka today. I released the demo a year ago, which took me about 30 hours to produce a one hour demo. The demo was fairly well received. It was downloaded a bunch of times on filefront before moving here, thanks to RetroWareTV.com rolling the trailer video on their main page.

It's been tough to keep the project going while running a podcast and being a father. However, this is an old story which I really want to finish. The finished product is probably only going to be about double the size of the demo. (About 2 hours of gameplay.) That's what it's looking like now.

My heartfelt thanks to all of those who downloaded the demo and played it - even if your thoughts on it were critical. I'm okay with that.
