The city of Askarin was once a busy Porttown, races and people came from all over Averta to trade their goods. But after a war it is but a shade of it's former glory. Poverty and violence rule the streets of Askarin. While the Guards try to defend the citizens a new defender rises, a man who calls himself the Fox.

Believing he can improve the world, he defends the weak against the strong, however, his path leaves a trail of pain, death and mistakes. When a mysterious man dies in the church of Askarin everyone dismisses it as another form of violence. However this death sets a chain of events in motion eventually challenging the power of the Gods themselves.

This game features a custom soundtrack and facesets.
The game will focus mostly on the story while the gameplay is that of
a normal rpg. I am however adding some new things to the gameplay, including
a trait system. You can read more about it in the features section.

Demo Coming Soon.

So I updated this blog,
added some new information about the project. Hopefully made you all interested.
I'm working on the demo now. I should get it done next month at the very last.
I already made a demo for this game, but I'm a bit stopping myself to post it, the
main reason is that I'm not entirely happy with it. So after I'm done redoing the demo
I'll go along and post it for your gaming and viewing pleasure. Stay tuned.

Hello! This is looking pretty good so far. I'll wait till I see more screenshots before subscribing. I'd also add a few features above in the summary section, just to let people know what sort of things to expect from "Cry of the Fox".

He defends the week? Against what? The all-powerful month?
@Carvonica: I will do that. Thank you for the suggestion. I'll post some extra screenshots in the near future too.

@Corfaisus: Whoops my mistake, must've overlooked that one. I'm not a native english speaker so this stuff happens. The game however is proofread by several english speaking friends, so it won't in the game itself.

^That gave me a big old grin. Beware, for the all powerful month is working for a greater evil. The Year, but I always thought the year was just a rumor myself.

On other news, yeah this does sound pretty awsome. Subbed.
PS. Get spellcheckers=P
Time is the greatest of all enemies.
I just played the old demo, as I had sitting on my computer. While the mapping needed some work, I was very impressed over all. A very intriguing rpg full of politics. I can't wait to see what the revised demo will look like (if it ever comes out).
Why doesn't this get more attention? It looks like it'll be a fun game.
Because it doesn't sound like it's still being worked on.
i can't see any foxes AT ALL!!! i want foxeeeeees!
