You are CHAD DANIELS a teenage boy living with his aunt in the projects of Trace Town. Coming down on hard times, his aunt enrolls him in a military program in Lezeer to help her cover the bills. Intimidated by its reputation as "death capital," Chad attempts to skip town for the night to dodge recruiters. In his closet, he comes across a child who panics and disappears in a show of light.
Discovering that his aunt has also disappeared, and undead now walking the streetss, Chad realizes this isn't the world he knows. Rescued by an angel who calls him the "Diamond," Chad becomes this world's only hope against the Onyx, a gem of reality-altering power pursued by a deranged ex-knight who'll stop at nothing to seize it. She can have it. All Chad wants is to return home. But with a slew of creatures and freaks wanting him dead as much as they want the Onyx, this is one responsibility he can't escape.

If you're talking about the part where Tari is the lead character, you've always been able to choose your party during this section. =)
If you're talking about when Royle first joins, I will certainly keep an eye on this.

I figured. I made it so you can at least enter and leave the dungeon at will. And speaking of the dungeons, many of them have been shortened significantly.

Is there a download to test this new version, or are you taking comments into accounts to make modifications on the game? I remember playing the two Onyx and Total Chaos and they were pretty solid, though the battles could be tiedous to handle at times. I would gladly replay these if you remake them.

Total Chaos isn't getting a re-release. But if anyone's interested in testing Onyx's re-release, I will for sure use them! =)
