Oldschool menu allows for quick changing of equipment. Mini map shows player's location and entrances/exits.

Oh, this is very cool.
Huh? I modified this image by adding a mini map in the black area but the old image still appears here. What's going on?

EDIT: There we are ^^

I would tone down the text outline, it's pretty strong and makes the text look jagged.
@Khos: Yeah that's what I thought also and now that somebody points it out, I guess I'll fix it.

EDIT: Done!

This has such a SoulBlazer vibe to it. Really cool!
Very cool. I like the over all vibe to it.
Glad you guys like it ^^
This menu has been slightly altered though. Screenshot coming soon.
How did you make the mini map? I've always wanted to know how to do that. Anyway, Looks great! I can't wait until you're finally done with this game!

Thank you so much Ashes of Emerald!! You saved me alot of trouble!!
No problem. If you ever need help with anything else just pm me.
Good tutorial.
My method for mini-maps is a bit different: instead of scaling down a full map, I draw the mini one where every pixel represents a passable/impassable 16x16 tile.
It's more work but I like the result :)
