*Edit: The one advantage of doing the two character method is that both characters would be able to appear on the screen, and have different tachie. The single-character method largely assumes only one character would ever appear on the screen. You can use an OTHER slot to relay both characters on the screen (Emiko kinda does this with one scene, and Uchioniko has this nigh-infamous scene), but, if scenes are complex enough that both characters need to have multiple poses, going with the two-character method might be best. Like I said, it's all in how you want to implement it.

hi. i'm new to this side of things. i downloaded the game a couple years ago and played it for a while. after my yearly play this week, i stumbled upon the modding community.
with that out of the way, i'd like to know if there's still a .PSD file of <secret character> out there? also, i really suck at editing the uniforms. if there's someone who can help, pls send reinforcements immediately.
Thank you so much.

I don't believe there was a public PSD release for her outfit, specifically. For what it's worth, the thought in the back of my head is that you could probably try using Garage's tachie generator. I found it slightly more user-friendly when it comes to editing particular parts of the outfit, rather that doing it through GIMP, or what-have-you.
I believe the most recent version can be obtained via this post, as well as the accompanying PSD file from Kevincalanor.

author=MarrendAs far as I know every single tachie for the built-in girls (as well as almost any custom content) is derived from the same .PSD which has later been improved by kevincalanor (and maybe a few others) ...

Even the tachie for she-who-may-not-be-named (the girl you're looking for).
My above-mentioned set of python scripts is designed to make generating tachie based on this .PSD somewhat easier.
That's true! The base outfit for <secret character> is the same as the other built-ins. The coloration of the uniform is different, though. Maybe it's just me, but, I read the post as asking for a copy of the PSD in question with that color scheme (light-green/white) as the default, rather than the normal (black/yellow) scheme?
Also, I am a terriblemod person, and modified wyat_erp's post to remove... certain material from it.
Also, I am a terrible
I'd like to offer a little challenge to some graphic-wiz who might be interested in helping me out ...
This here is my halfhearted first version of a "sunset" variation of the "Town" background pic.
Is there anybody out here who knows he/she could do better?
Context: Kazuhiko and Ayame stay too long on one of their outings; they don't return home before sunset, and she want's him to walk her home. A normal "town" background just doesn't fit to the "sunset" variation of the "Fishing" background pic (that one is part of the "Studio 74" collection used by the creator of the game).

Speaking of Ayame ... here is my latest version of Nadeshiko.
Anybody who's willing to try them out: please feel welcome to tell me how you like them.
EDIT: minor updates to story and character file. Changed outfits for some of Ayame's stories and Riku's ending.
And that new background by Kevincalanor is in it too ;)

author=GarageWhoa! I saw that & thought "That looks like Kana Imouto or Libra of the Vampire Princess!" I guess the reason it looks very VN is that it's based on a real world location?

author=GallerieDuIbIt's just a recoloring of an background that's already in the game (Specifically: this one, which can be seen if Kazuhiko walks his girl home after a date). So I can't take any credit for the looks.

Mind if I use this for my content?
Never mind. I shouldn't use this laptop here for evaluating color qualities :(

The sky is copy-pasted from another image x3
And sure, go ahead ^^

Thank you very much (again).

Ever thought about designing some jeans or leggings for them girls?
I think that works as leggings. Jeans, on the other hand, would have a different texture and be blue.

Yeah, it's a first draft. Especially the combination with the tracking team top (as in my example) doesn't work yet - look at her left hip (right side of the picture).
Texture, belt, belt loops (if that's a word), pockets, button, how-do-you-call-the-flap-that-hides-the-zipper ...
I won't even talk about stuff like hands in pockets or playing with the belt loops ... that would be wayyyy over my head, since the arms are part of the upper body and hand-in-pocket would require an sightly different pose then arm- at-side.
Applying a believable texture to the pants might not that easy either since legs are round ;)

Attempted once back when I was making Eliza but didn't look okay, as mentioned, the texture, belt, belt loops, pockets, button, the flap-thingy there's so much stuff that can go wrong. xD
I'll give it another shot and see how it turns out ^^

These are probably over my level though, fiddling with the loops would require drawing a whole new hand, and hands... uh... *starts sweating*
Hand in pocket is easier but still there is a lot of thingies here-and-there to look after so I'm not sure.
The problem with hand-in-pocket is that it's not only about the hands. You'd have to bend the arms a bit differently, too and that means the shoulders would have to move a bit ... and all that times at least 4 different types of tops. (maybe even more if you needed to take chest sizes into account too).
I think it's not worth the hassle. Plus it'll be way out of my league. As for pants themselves. I'll try to find out how far imagemagick and gimp can take me without really having to do more then a tiny bit of actual drawing ;)
(My drawing skills are about as good as a four year old's, frankly.)

author=EgyLynxThe girl in that example is Riku from my Nadeshiko content (which is work-in-progress, but playable and almost finished).
Anyway, it was Cute... Which mood her should be at that picture?

The outfit is based on the one she's wearing in her ending. I just replaced her skirt with my first not-totally-awful version of pants.
So if you like her looks, you should try to win her over ,)
