There is now a website you can use to share your custom content with other users! But you're still welcome to use this page to share and discuss content.

Below is a list of finished custom (user-made) content. To add these characters, in most cases you can extract the downloaded file to the game's main directory and you're set. Depending on how the author has organized them, it may be necessary to move files to the appropriate directories. (Custom content has not been tested by me)
Note: After new content has been added, old saves won't be compatible.

If you have posted custom content in this thread, I will (eventually) add your link to the list above, along with a small screenshot if you have included one. Be sure to test your content in-game before posting.

Helpful things:

--> Medium build girl, the .psd that was used to create the built-in characters, is available with layer names in English.

--> Not feeling artistic? You can use any of these images for making custom characters.

--> Notepad++ with syntax highlighting for Heartache 101 can be a big help with story creation.

--> If you are writing story content that includes the appearance of existing characters (built-in or custom), the following list may be of reference:
ID 0 = The Player

TWINS?(You started it!) As long as it not 'the stoic and the cheerful' combo, it's okay. That's not only overdone, but Tsukihime started it. Market leader calling copycat is usually frowned upon...(what I'm saying is: Stoic twin/cheerful twin is TOO MAINSTREAM. We aren't, are we?)
Don't worry, I know that all too well. Contradictory twins are really...kinda lame now.

You mean someone's already working on twins? Dang. Oh well, a little competition never hurt anyone!
No, I mean the thing came from Tsukihime. That's another game, the 4th most popular VN ever made. They didn't start it, but pretty much codified the whole opposite sister trope, not to mention played with it. If you have to play with a trope, you just know it's getting old. And as I said, doing what the big guys are doing is just redundant.
Ah. Haha, I'm not very good with visual novels. They're usually very...distasteful. And I agree, it is redundant. But of course, I've seen the 'mirror' concept sooo many times in siblings (not just twins) in many anime/manga and such, there would be no way I would even think of it! Things get old I suppose, however I wonder what the spark for this 'trend' was like?

And that Place = City/School command sounds really fun; though it does nothing to solve the problem in question. If I interpret it right, this should allow a random, custom meeting over the entire town; what we need is a usual generic encounter you have in school in a variety of different places.

Well, to be frank, what Joruri needs is, like, ENCOUNTERS = CITY. Rather than ENCOUNTERS = OFF or ENCOUNTERS = SCHOOL. I'm thinking that, maybe, there would be a virtual CONTINUE event at the end of city-phase encounters. Not exactly sure how much sense that makes, but only having encounters during city phase is something of a determent because there's, at best, two afternoon-phase events. The virtual CONTINUE should allow for the random chance of getting another city event, and possibly trigger another encounter with the character. Meanwhile, the day-phase can have anywhere between zero (It's totally possible, though highly improbable, to not land on any icon whatsoever) and I don't even want to guess (It's totally possible, though highly improbable, to land on as may icons as possible.) events.
marrend I have a stupid question. If you are able to figure this out in a way where it increases your run ins with Joruri are you also going to lengthen her story?

I did mention that there could have been more stories with Joruri within my commentary, didn't I? Well, I once had this crazy idea in my head where Tsubasa and Masako double-team on an investigation. That's got very little to do with Joruri, (Unless Masako, somehow, gets her involved?) but, still, I figured that would be a pretty awesome sub-story.
Maybe Joruri could visit the school sometime for whatever reason? Has to stay with her pa and fills in her class quota there for instance?

it did and the best one would probably shoko or junko. shoko because shes the opposite of this character shy, quiet, reserved, and withdrawn. junko because she is athletic, stand offish, and well no offense to her more masculine then feminine though she does have a nice feminine side to her. It would make sense that a female would be attracted to either.
I have no problems with this. Junko was intended to be pretty masculine. I doubt her feminine side would really come out unless you were close to her.

If it says vacant, then it's vacant:) It's my job to know.

EDIT: Ya know what, I'm giving you ID 18 right now. Here you go.
Shoot. I should have said something soon, but I actually am planning some characters for slots 16, 17, and 18. Anyway, I guess I should go ahead and have you add them to the list. 16 is Ran Fujioka, 17 is Torako Koizumi, and 18 was going to be Yumemi Tanno, but I guess I'll have to assign her a different number. 26 maybe? While I'm at it, can I reserve numbers 23 and 24 as well? I don't know when I'll get around to making those characters, but I have definite plans for those slots: a set of twins in the main character's class. Not that this should stop anyone else from making twins. No such thing as too many twins. :) (Yes, I also have somewhat of a twin obsession.)

And someone should rate Junko. :3 Pretty please?
no need i will change both i will take 26 for yoko and 27 for seira
As you guys wish. I shouldn't add an ID without having at least seen a beta version, but since Nekochi is... well, Nekochi, I guess it's fine. I never was big about rules anyway.

-Katanashi Seira's ID changed from 18 to 27.
-Added Ran Fujioka, Torako Koizumi and Yumemi Tanno to the ID list
-ID 23 and 24 reserved for Nekochi
-ID 26 reserved for triad2

And a review of Junko? Count me in.
The first review of Junko's route(And ever)!

Story 5/5
The plot is the general heartache idea: meet the girl, solve her problem, love ensues. Nobody's gonna fall over that, but the story itself is written so well it deserves the maximum score. It's not just the realistic dialogues either, but how perfectly portrayed Miki and Keika were. The 'It's for her, not you' line from Miki was a bit clichic, but a single mistake compared to the sheer awesomeness of the rest of it? Hard to even notice.

Characters 5/5
What can I say? The writer is a woman, and it shows. Junko has more depth than any other custom character, and runs over some built-ins on the way. The best part is the simplicity of the things that really are simple most of the time in real life. As a rule of thumb, if you're nice to someone, that someone's going to like you, and that's pretty much all you need to know. Visual novels have a habit of warping the girls' personalities and needs so much to make them more interesting you'd think they're aliens; it's nice to see that subverted once in a while. Aoi is just the top of everything. Do you people have any idea how hard it is to portray a kid properly? I wouldn't dare to try...

Experience 3/5
The route flows very smoothly, but what was a bonus for Junko's character takes away from the fun. The choices are so predictable Junko's effectively handed over to the player. The beautiful ending scenes and the aforementioned story makes up for it somewhat, but all in all, it's just plain meh. I wonder if there's a compromise?

Content: 4/5
This is really, really close to 5 out of 5. Junko's route has date events, phone events and more on top of the storyline, which is awfully rare(I may or may not be subtly suggesting something here), but it's less than what the people out there have every right to demand. Still the best custom route in this department, so it's a thumbs up, at least.

Overall Rating: 17/20

I'm not exactly sure what "experience" is supposed to relay anymore. I mean, you do talk about playing through the route (Like I figured "experience" should.), but it seems like the bulk of the review should be in the "experience" of playing. Also, I'm not sure what, exactly, "content" is supposed to be about. All I'm getting from it is that Junko has events that are not connected to her main-line plot. Which, true, not many other custom content characters have (Especially ones made by this guy.). Even if there are "extra" parts of the story that are there to give flavor to the character, wouldn't that just be under, well, "story"? Or "character"?

Sorry, but I am still trying to get a feel for what we want to see for these reviews.
All those mean what I told you when we extablished the rules. I guess I can give you a tl;dr version...

Story: How good it is
Characters: How interesting they are
Experience: How fun it is
Content: How many text's in there

In case you need ref, having played all the routes but Emiko, generally your stories are superplusgood, characters are just behind that, exp is a bit better than average, content sucks.

How is this?
I think i realised why so many go for the cliched stepping on the yanderes territory cliche it's so hard to keep her from looking like just a regular bully otherwise i'm too far into this and i dont have enough time to go back so i guess i'm stuck trying to keep her from looking like a bully maybe if i show her as nice and sweet to other's but just mean to the player that might help i am also open to other suggestions

ps i disagree on your comment about marrends content granted they are usually short but there is usually a reason for it though

Content: How many texts in here

So, content is supposed to talk about how many STORYs there are, assuming I'm reading this right (And I may not be!)? Yet, you totally said, first thing, that quality was greater than quantity.

author=Dozen
d. Content. Quality>quantity, but if you barely spare a good storyline a cameo's screentime, you either don't grab the attention of the audience or leave them craving for more. Either way, it means you're fucked. The story should be long enough to keep you busy for at the very least one and a half hour, tied in with other stories, and come with date and phone events if applicable, to live up to the built-ins - maybe even suprass them.

Like, how would I have gotten "how many texts in here" from this description?

Or, I could stop worrying and love the bomb arguing/making a fuss over this, and focus on those other games I should be working on whatever it was that I was going to do about Joruri.
@Triad2... So you're turning your yandere into a deredere? That doesn't help at all:P
no she will still be mean to the charector brutally violent in fact just to others she will be nice kind of like they just got off on the wrong foot plus i'm hinting that eventhough she brutalises him she really likes him or maybe she brutalises him because she likes him that will be for the players to decide i just don't want her to look like shes a bully
so, from yandere -> sadist?

not far from the cliche transformation though
