I'm very excited! Volrath (of Master of the Wind fame) has done a very kind thing and made me a trailer for Star Stealing Prince! :D
We decided that Iron Maiden's "Look for the Truth" should be the trailer's music because when looking at the song lyrically (at least for me), it fit Star Stealing Prince more than I really thought any song could.
So this has me very excited! In addition to that, if all goes as planned (cross your fingers, wish me good luck, et cetera) I should be able to release the full game very early February! I can't wait to show you guys the full game. :D!

I made a bunch of trailers for MotW, but doing one for someone else's project was a first and very fun. SSP is a parade of one striking image after another, and honestly I feel like most of the work was already done for me, I just had to arrange it and get the timing right.
A long while ago, I had listened to "Look for the Truth" and thought it was appropriate strictly based on the mood of the song. I had not played the whole game or heard the whole story yet, so I was surprised when Ronove told me it also fit very well lyrically. It would be possible to use the entire 5-minute song as some kind of tribute video if we wanted, but then there would be mass spoilage. The game's coming out soon, I've beta-tested the whole thing and it's excellent, so everyone play it when that happens.

SO EXCITED.
Iron Maiden isn't really my thing either but jeez, when the ending kicked in...Volrath is pretty much right about Star Stealing Prince being a parade of striking images.
