I would make two of those mini-palm trees and make one lower than the other. That way, it actually looks like part of it's submerged under water instead of just hovering above it.

I think you mean the seedlings? I see what you mean - a bit of water overlap to make them seem submerged. I'll have a look into that, thanks!
