Calling All Mappers!

Yeah, I'm back at it again, I'm afraid! Haha. For the second (or is it third?) time in this project's life I am looking for a competent mapper to provide me with some quality maps for this project! I can't promise any payment other than pure advertisement and a place in the credits, but ut should be a great experience and a way to get your name out there even further! I also have a good track record of completing games, so you shouldn't have to worry too much about your work going to waste. If you're at all interested, check the "Images" section for the type of maps I'm looking for, as well as the quality that I'd like them to be.

I have checked out the images and I think I will be useful to you.
Just check out my games as my credentials.
Here is one map I am really proud of but you wont find it in this site.

Should it come down to it, I'd be willing to step back in as lead mapper for the sake of consistency. Also, to keep from losing interest like last time, I'm glad to say that I'm taking an antidepressant which has been helping me significantly, so if I'm recruited once more I can almost guarantee that I won't go from functioning one day to completely demotivated the next. An additional benefit of this is that I've also felt my mind open up and that my creativity is no longer stuck behind some sort of wall, so coupling that with the experience I've gained since last I worked on this, I should be able to come up with better layouts and bring them to completion much faster.
Corfaisus, I don't think you understand how much I would absolutely love to have you back on the team! Waiting for and then receiving the maps you made for me was a treat, and always helped to act as a form of motivation so I wouldn't slack off and leave you with nothing to do for Months on end (mapping-wise, of course). So yes! I'd welcome you back with open arms.

I've also become more serious with this project recently. I don't think I was putting as much effort into it in the past as I should have been. I just wanted to... get it done, and because of that the script and everything else suffered as a result.

Thanks for the offer SaitenHazard, but it'd be fantastic if I would have my original mapper back if only for consistency's sake.

Still appreciate the offer, though.

To be honest the game doesn't really have all THAT many maps, especially if you compare it to some of the other "epic" RPG Maker games out there. Corfaisus is a little over the half-way point, actually.
Sad thing is someone made a Dragon Fantasy shit game for PSN.... after you made yours. I played your original game and it was a lot of fun, but I worry remaking it would take away from the charm.

And you're right it doesn't have that many map.
I'm doing it to shed more light on the story over anything else, to be honest. I just want to tell a proper and fleshed-out tale rather than the NES stuff I've been doing for once. I picked DF because of its popularity, and the fact that it was the very first game I completed.

And TELL ME ABOUT IT! Wherever I post any of my Dragon Fantasy projects I'm reminded that there's already an existing game series (?) called that. It's irksome at most, but nothing too bothersome. The name isn't original by any means, and I've been using it since 2006 so I have no intentions of changing it.

And speaking of maps... Corfaisus is nearing the end! He only has roughly 3-4 major areas left to design before he's finished. So there's SOME progress, at least. =B

I always figured "Dragon Fantasy" was a combination of Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy, give that those are only two of the most famous RPG series ever, and your games always seem to be based around the classic series of both games.
Yup. That's where I got the idea for the name of the series. See how original I was?! Haha. But back then I never figured I'd end up making a (kind of) series, or even really go past ONE GAME! It's funny how things work out.
