So I've decided to do a new LP for my own game, Touhou Fantasy. Why, you ask? Well...the original LP is old and desynced and just overall not that great IMO. And yes, while I do have ChefMKT also LPing the game (for the past 2, almost 3, years now), I feel that I should at least give my own game a bit of a spotlight on my channel. And this time, I'm actually doing live commentary (which I could not do originally)! Hopefully my voice won't drive away everyone from enjoying the game no? ^^;;


A brief history and talk about the game: Touhou Fantasy does not go into details on the backstories of the characters from the Touhou universe, simply because there's barely anything to talk about there. Not only that, it doesn't go too deep into the plot of Touhou, simply because well...Touhou doesn't really have a plot. Each game is completely different in terms of what the plot is (for instance, Touhou 6 was about a vampire releasing red mist to block out the sun so she can walk around freely outside, even though she can do so with an umbrella, while Touhou 9 was everyone suspecting everyone else of the incident happening, which was a bunch of souls being not ferried over to the other side).

On that note, Touhou is a series of shoot-em-up games, first originating on the Japanese PC-98 machine, spanning a great amount of games, books, and other media. Most characters don't have that much personality behind them or backstory (if they do, it's usually due to them being around a lot longer than others, such as the main protagonists Reimu and Marisa, who are not only in the games but appear in the mangas as well), but there is enough to form a base foundation for how they act for the most part (fanon sometimes takes this to the extreme however...). That's...about all I can say about the Touhou series! I hope that you enjoy this series, as it's going to take me the next month or 2 to fully finish it! ^^;
