Introduction: The World
"Our World, Arelron, is probably the most magical and diverse place we can imagine. From Frozen Mountains to Colossal Forests, Arelron is now all that we, its people, ever wanted. And for all that we need to thank no more than the Eight Divine, who watch and protect us, making of Arelron the most perfect place to live. Of course, there are disputes between our Human Rulers about this world's wonderful natural resources, but from that, only a few dare to speak."
Ian Grandchester, Arelron's Pocket Guide, Introduction.
Prologue: Sacrifice
"Long Time Ago, a time before of us, humans, and even before the Eight, Arelron was already home of a nation. To those people, from which we almost do not know a thing, we call the Ancients. These Ancients were Arelron's first inhabitants, or at least, the first we have record. they lived in harmony with the land, the sea and the sky, and worshiped Arelron as their only source of life and creation. That was a time of peace.
But as with us, the Ancients also had wishes and ambitions, and for one of them, those feelings went too far. Gramros was his name. Consumed by his greatness, Gramros wished to become the ruler of this perfect World. Many battles were fought in Arelron, with Gramros and those who joined him winning the majority of them. It was clear that the Ancients became a divided nation, and the world would be taken apart if this impasse was not solved.
It was then that They appeared. There are not trustable records for this appearing, but all we know is that the Eight Divine somehow came to Arelron, with a single goal: To Defeat Gramros.
Although, that was not an easy task. Gramros' Army grew by the day, and even with the power of the Eight, it was almost impossible to repair the damage already taken by Arelron. After endless battles, victories and defeats, the Eight reached a conclusion: Gramros could not be defeat now, but it could be sealed, and so they wolud have time to rebuild Arelron and wait for the era of the arrival of the ones that could truly defeat Gramros with them.
However, there was a problem with that option: Gramros and his army were still very powerful, and keeping all those beings sealed would mean for the Eight Divine to use all their powers, sacrificing themselves on the process. When telling that to the Ancients, however, the Divine got surprised: the Acients wanted to be The Sacrifice. They wanted their land to become what it once was, a peaceful one, at any cost, and truted the Eight with that task.
And so the Ancients' will was made. The Eight gathered themselves on the battlefield and used all Ancients' life energy as a Sacrifice to imprision Gramros and his Army. Despite the success, there were still much to be done. Arelron needed to be reconstructed and repopulated, all of which took the Divine to create the first being of the race that would take care of Arelron from now on: we, Humans.
And that is the Tale of the Ancients and the Humans. Even nowadays, we still wait for the the Eight will choose the ones able to defeat Gramros once and for all, making Arelron complete and perfect once more."

Chapter I: Conflicts and Discoveries
"Crestburgh, March 17th, 754,
To the Citizens of the Empire,
For decades, we lived troubled discussions with the Kingdom of Urysia, on the Northern Sea, about the ownership of the mining region on the Mainland. We all know those mines belong to Central Arelron, and ergo, to House Crestburgh. However, Urysians insist in ambition our Land and obtaining our Ores with lower taxes, even by invading the Mainland.
And Today, the King of Urysia formally declared War against the Empire. I, the Emperor, have no other option but to defend what is mine, what is ours, and accept this War.I know that Arelron has not suffered any big Wars on the last 3 Centuries, and many of you migth be afraid of what this decision can mean to your lives. but do know that I hope for this conflict to end as soon as possible, and with a few lives lost. and for that, I gladly ask the cooperation of all Citizens. It is time of serving your Empire, and defending our most precious things.
I wish you all the best of luck for the times to come."
Emperor Uriel Crestburgh III.
It was a common day among the citizens of the Empire when they heard the news of War. The reactions were numerous: mothers cried for their children, the children, confused, felt just fear, the elderly stayed calm and thoughtful, and the young men did what they could to protect all of them: started joining the Knights.
Meanwhile, in a Divine Orphanage south of the capital,
The nuns have just told the news to their orphans. Among them, a young swordman, named Siegfried, stood up and said the orphans could also help, fighting with the empire against the Urysians. The nuns and the other orphans said it was insane, and that it would risk all of the orphans' lives. Although defeated, Siegfried didn't give up of his plans. He truly wanted to fight for the Empire his father died to protect.
Later that day, when everyone is already sleeping, Siegfried decide to leave the orphanage. On his way out, however, he found one of the new priests, Eoria, wandering around the orphanage, probably with insomnia. She saw him, and asked where he was going. When Siegfried told her about his plan, Eoria said it was a terrible and irresponsible idea. It's impossible to stand against an entire Kingdom and survive, at least alone. And with that, Eoria admitted she also wanted to travel Arelron in search of some answers.

Chapter II: The Arts of War
"When the Heat of Battle calls, our only option is to answer. But knowing how to answer is the key. Many battles are just tests of skills, on which the most skilled is always the winner. And by "skills", it is not only "strength" we should care for, but also the strategy of battle. Many Great Rulers see the Wars as a chess games, and knowing how to conquer is more important then to conquer."
Elder Auron, Isand's Teachings on the Arts of Battle.
Isand's Shrine of Panrya, March 18th, 754,
Ina feels anxious and happy at the same time. Today, she will fully become a High Monk. Ina lives in a Isand's Shrine as long as she can remember, as she was abandoned there because of her strange abilities. Many wild monsters feel the presence of Ina, and so they are always around her, which clearly makes her a dangerous girl to have in a city or village. But to the shrines, with monks that are always training with monsters, she's even useful.
But what the monks didn't know is that Ina, with the time, started to demonstrate very impressive skills against some monsters. It actually looked like she knew all of the monsters skills. When Ina was 15, they finally discovered: Ina has a Legendary ability known as "Morphing", on which she can learn the skills of the enemies she defeats and also Morph into then, using their skills. Because of that, Ina rapidly developed as a Monk, and today, she stands against her final testing: Defeat and successfully Morph into an Ice Princess.
