Trust me when I say that me and Mrzombieghost are both working hard at continuing Chaos Divine. The one problem we're running into right now is that we are basically redoing EVERYTHING.
LOTS AND LOTS OF REDOING. IT BURNS, MAN.
Here's a list of the things we've changed.
- Regular attacks and guarding restore MP.
- Regular attack power has decreased, while skill power has increased.
- You now have a stat distribution screen! You can assign points to stats and raise them!
- Lots and lots of redone maps and dialogue. As of now, there are 70% less ellipses! And the pauses don't take forever for the ellipses now, so that's a plus!
- Austin gets Pyrion instead of Pyriux for the Morpheus quest. Pyrion's basically a physical version of Pyriux. Good for Austin, since his Energy is pitiful.
- Armors are replaced with stat distribution orbs. If the need for armors ever comes up again, we'll put it back in, but for now, no armors.
- There also aren't any more stat increasing gems (Agility Emerald? Nope!)
- The element tables are now easier to comprehend, and have less subsections! (tables will be updated as soon as possible.)

pyrofiend324=- Regular attacks and guarding restore MP.
How much?
pyrofiend324=-Regular attack power has decreased, while skill power has increased.
As long as attack doesn't become useless, I'm happy about this change.
pyrofiend324=-You now have a stat distribution screen! You can assign points to stats and raise them!
Meh. As long as I know what characters skills use what stats, I'm cool.
pyrofiend324=-Austin gets Pyrion instead of Pyriux for the Morpheus quest. Pyrion's basically a physical version of Pyriux. Good for Austin, since his Energy is pitiful.
But what about the stat distribution feature? Couldn't I use that to make Austin better with Pyriux?
pyrofiend324=-Lots and lots of redone maps and dialogue. As of now, there are 70% less ellipses! And the pauses don't take forever for the ellipses now, so that's a plus!
Sounds nice--like to see some screen shots of some mapping changes.
pyrofiend324=-Armors are replaced with stat distribution orbs. If the need for armors ever comes up again, we'll put it back in, but for now, no armors.
It makes sense, considering the story.
pyrofiend324=There also aren't any more stat increasing gems (Agility Emerald? Nope!
The ones you could buy? if so, yes--I thought they just got in the way of everything.
pyrofiend324=The element tables are now easier to comprehend, and have less subsections!
Good to hear.

I bought this up before, and I guess I'll do it again. If possible, please create a world map picture of some kind.
I felt as though the world could become quite large, and if you want people for go back to old content for things, It would be a good idea to throw in a small map. Also, it will help create a world that isn't all over the place. It's not like that now, but it might happen if you're not careful.
author=Clareain_ChristopherLol, my project's world is quite large too, though I didn't try creating a world map as it'd throw The Base's teleport system out of whack. :D

Well, here's the thing. The world isn't going to be that large. Heck, if you manage to take a look at worldmap.png in the Graphics > System folder, it's really not that huge of an area.

At this point, I'll just leave it up to testing ;p
edit: Found it in the pictures. Didn't know that was there, lol.

author=mrzombieghostClareain_Christopher=- How much?Usually 4. For Austin though, whose basic attack now hits multiple enemies, it depends on how many enemies are on the field.
So if there is one, he gains 2 MP
If there's two, he gains 4 MP
and so onClareain_Christopher=-As long as attack doesn't become useless, I'm happy about this change. Then you should be fine XDClareain_Christopher=-Meh. As long as I know what characters skills use what stats, I'm cool.I better talk to Conor about that.. .___.Clareain_Christopher=-But what about the stat distribution feature? Couldn't I use that to make Austin better with Pyriux?.I guess you could, but he's got like no energy based moves and you're gonna need to boost A LOT if you want his energy to be any good so you're kinda silly if you decide to do that.Clareain_Christopher=-Sounds nice--like to see some screen shots of some mapping changes.Yes, sir! XDClareain_Christopher=-It makes sense, considering the story.Yeah but also with it, the characters become a little overpowered. They already get quite a few boosts as it is.Clareain_Christopher=-The ones you could buy? if so, yes--I thought they just got in the way of everything.I don't really get this one. They were kind of expensive, they raised stats a bit, and they were fully optional. Not to disagree with you, I just don't really get what you mean. Glad you like the change though. :3Clareain_Christopher=- I bought this up before, and I guess I'll do it again. If possible, please create a world map picture of some kind.

I'm pretty sure we have one. It's in one of the folders and the world isn't really THAT big.

I didn't find a reason to get them over items--but I could see it being useful late game.

Didn't see it before writing that. Was it shown in-game? I Probably forgot...
