FINAL STAGE OF DEVELOPMENT

Hey you alls. I have no new screenies to add, unfortunately BUT! I finally arrived the final stage of devving the current part. There are now more puzzles ingame, 4 enemies type and over 40+ maps total (which brings est. playtime of 1h+ if I may be bold.)

Right now, I'm still polishing up the game in term of balancing, enemy AIs and improving maps. That's about it. So you can expect release in 1-2 weeks top.

And also, the old game link will be deleted soon. Thats it from me. Until then.

Bleeding and Skill Tree System

I'm so hyped myself. This week I implemented trait trees that you can use to increase Damien's ability in survivability.

Example : Improve green herbs usage effects.

Example 2 : Increase chance to land crit hit while shooting.

And then I added 'Bleeding'effects. Guess for who? Mwahahahahha of course the zombies don't bleed pfft. This nasty lil effect chips off your hp. You can counter their effects by not getting attacked or by upgrading traits. And they can incapacitate you for a sec once in a while. You will not be able to be totally immune to this effect which makes it even harder to survive.

The skill trees took me 6 hours divided to three sections to get it to work. So I'm more excited than ever to release it xD unfortunately I haven't had chances to make gif yet (newbie issues) hopefully I can uncover how to do it in three days time.

Oh and the easy zombies? You can throw them as far away as you can because I've made them harder, faster, better that you'd think twice to confront them or not.

Screen of The Newest Area In-Game! And Progress Report!

Hello again. :P

So this is the newest progress reports of the week.


This is the basic structure of the Third Floor. (With three effing intersections.) Depending on ideas that come to mind, this stage can be huge or ridiculously short, but rn, it's the former. I hope it stays that way xD. Wait!

And this is Holding Cell from B1 area, where one of the major cut scene in the game happened. What HAPPENED is still a secret that only I know ;P

There's 4 cut-scenes total (1 is mini) and I'm still haven't reach halfway, the map count is 27 Maps in total. I test run the whole game that I've created as of now and completed it in 25-27 minutes. I did the re-runs twice btw. If you are the one who is playing, maybe 35-45 mins. Trust me, the puzzle is far harder than what I've accomplished in the old game. And much harder if you can't be bothered to read files~~~ XD

2nd, I've the whole story mapped out, down to the final boss. It's the execution I'm worried about but I'll find a way to get by.

3rd, please, if you're looking to download this one that I'm working on, it's still unavailable because I vow to not release DEMOs ever again. The one on the download page is the OLD GAME. The link will be replaced (and be gone forever) once I completed what I'm working on.

The downside, this new game probably need 2GB ram and above to play without lag since I've evented like hell (-.- sorry on that).

you or them. And I urge you to choose yourself. Take
out those things if you have to, just like I have to.
And if its any consolation, they're no longer humans.

To anybody that reads this, I can only say I'm sorry
because you're going to survive alone. And I'm sorry
that it will take everything you have to survive.

As promised, here are a couple of screenshots I've worked crazily on.

P.S : You can be friends with Lickers so long as you :
a)Sneak past them.
b)DON'T make rude comments about their ugly head. :P

I've also incorporated Enemies AIs. Their steps will now emit their own respective sound, and they will sometimes 'Growl' XD. And I also added two options in-map, SNEAK, movement speed lowered drastically but will be undetectable to blind enemies. DASH that means run like hell and get-every-enemy-in-vicinity chase you like hell. There.

Then I mapped and evented alot. Next course of event would be make more zombies sprite, their attack sprites and their dead sprites.

Scrape, Scrape, Scrape and CUT! CUT! CUT!

Hi everyone.

I felt so ashamed with how I released this like AGES ago. Good gosh. I wanted to scream and tear my hair out once I gave this a rerun. OH MY GOSH.

It's terrifyingly terrible in every aspect I can think of. -.- Inconsistent, cake-walk game, subpar puzzles, unprofessionally ripped menu icons. The notes and files are written by a 13 Years Old kid (literally, no joking). I TRULY HAVE NO IDEA what I was doing at that time. Eventing and mapping are bare. Cutscenes make no sense.

I apologize a lot to those who even played that. I'm really sorry. Now, I'm a little bit older, I revamped the story, I learned a bit about scripting, logic (which I'm clueless about at 13Yo), minor graphic editing, I decided to give it another shot.

For now, I provided screenshots, basic story framework and what I have in store for the game. BUT I AM NOT DOING THE DEMO THING-Y anymore. I'll release it when it's complete. But screenshots will be added from time to time.

Resident Evil : Raccoon City News! 4

After a year of being hiatus, i decided to remake this game. Im happy to say that i have added a playable character from RE : Outbreak, (lucky him..) Oops, did i just spoil it? Anyway, i have redone the maps, adding details to the maps, character select screen and the puzzles. I have to remove voice acting as many have commented it. I hope no one is insulted or anything. But, i'm glad to say that the next update will be coming really soon... and just one more thing. Who wants Cindy Lennox to be playable? XD dont worry, each characters have their own reason being dragged in the palace.

Resident Evil : Raccoon City News! 3

Hi folks!
I've been away for a month, but don't worry i'll keep updating
on this. The first good thing is, RE: Remake disk 2 is well on-the-way,
and the second good thing is, i worked the Disc 1 Bug, added a boss, worked o the story and added an intro to develop the storyline and 1 Resident Evil 3-esque panic sequence. Take long but fun. I am currently thinking for more idea to evolve the gameplay. The bad thing is, i can't determined the date i'm gonna release both of them. But do not worry, i will not drop this project.

Resident Evil : Raccoon City News! 2

Disc 2 is well under way! I know that DISC 1 is pretty crappy but i will fix them audio name missing and stuff like that and re-upload it. I just wanted to tell you just one BIG feature in DISC 2. (ON MY OPINION. LOL) There will be a priority that you need to be aware of. First, the person will follow you. He is vulnerable and will be targeted like ASHLEY IN RE4. (If you played Resident Evil 4, you will know about this. Now, that's all folks! Farewell!

Another bug-fix download added on the Download page. Now i know how hard it is to create a game. Let me suffer ;)... I will start working on the Disc 2 right after i found idea and resource. It will be a long and hard work. Though, i'll not stop doing Disc 2. If you seen me inactive and stop throwing in updates, don't think i give up making the game. For now, Just keep battling the undead with Alice, Rain Ocampo, Chris and Carlos!
