A 17-year old who lost his mother when she was taken by a heart condition, Artephius has found solace in continuing her work in the Alchemy field. He is a polite young man who teaches young children the arts. He sells his own creations to keep his house, and to keep food in his stomach.

During the sessions in which he teaches young children, he also teaches them basic self-defense techniques and a few offensive spells.


Not much is known about Artephius' older brother. He is presumed to be around 3 years older.


A quiet young lady, presumed 19-years old, who loves Archery. She sometimes believes that destiny hates her because she was born in the port town of La'nar, which has very little resources for Archery. She keeps herself well-trained by using roped arrows to catch fish.

Mia comes from a family where the harder you work, the better you get rewarded. Her father captains the ferry that takes people back and forth between the mainland and Juniper Island. Her mother works at the market in La'nar, helping to keep the peace.


Little is known about Verin. Not even his real name. He has only ever introduced himself as Verin. He rarely speaks but when he does it's usually to blurt out profanities. He is very impatient. Presumed 22-years old.


Ahazu claims to be over 300-years old. However, he doesn't appear to be any older than 25. Ahazu says he was born in the Aldus Forest. He is a very odd person, but also a very skilled swordsman.


Dagon comes from the Stradivarius family, which is almost directly related to the Spark family. He is presumed to be around 16-years old. Not much is known about him, except that he was banished from the city in which the Stradivarius family resides. No one but the family knows why.

Ceralia Cross:
Ceralia Cross is one of Artephius' students. She makes sure to attend every class and she never fails to have questions for him afterwards. She grew up without her parents, just like he did. Maybe that's why Artephius has always taken a liking to her. That, and that fateful day years ago.

Nigri:
Nigri is the headmaster at the school in Aurali. She makes sure all of her students are learning the basics: the history of Ja'spyr and E'spirion, maths and science. She calls upon Artephius from time to time to do special quests for her. Every time, Artephius requests Ceralia to go with him. And every time, Nigri allows it.
