The Hero
Integra White was born to a noble family in Sevallon. As her father, she proved to be an exceptional archer and started training as a Sevallon Ranger at very young age. Integra is very confident about her skills, even to a point of arrogance. Still Integra is kind hearted and believes in the goodness of the soul. She has never ventured outside of Sevallon but has read a lot of the outside world, and is very intrested in travelling around Eeria someday. For some reason she and her best friend Althoran both choose to grow as the same pace as humans and now Integra resembles a human of the age of about 18. Now Integra's training is almost complete and she is soon going to recieve her Ranger Honors. What could go wrong...?

The World
A great war between the two empires (Capitol and Empire the of Amordusk) has ended over 100 years ago, and there has been peace in the land. Still the seeds of hatred have stayed in peoples hearts, and it would take only a little conflict to push the empires in to another war. World and characters based on the tabletop roleplaying game D100 Eeria, a game which has been in developement for almost 10 years. No prior knowledge of the world is required, as you learn about the world of Eeria with Integra who has never left her home village earlier.

Features
-Over 10 playable characters, each one having their own unique personalities, fighting styles, personal story and quest lines.
-Story varies a bit depending which characters you choose to keep in your party.
-Numerous towns/dungeons accessable via worldmap.
-Lots of sidequests featuring puzzles, horror elements and hidden boss fights.
-Gameplay time may vary from 5h to 25h depending how many sidequests you find/choose to complete. Although I don't think anyone can beat the game in under 10h on the first run.
-A journal that tracks the progression of quests. There are lots of them.
-Uses the RMXP defaulft turn-based battle system.
-Includes some custom-made resources including: characters, pictures, music tracks and sound effects.
-Cutscene pictures in major turn points of the story.

Many themes in the game are adult-like and direct, so the game is not recommended for children.

Tosi-Taku, Thank you very much, found it
I just downloaded this game since I'm always interested in trying out new RPG Maker games.

...And then I noticed you're a fellow Finn. XD Now I have double the reason to play the game, eh.

Have fun playing and if you like it, join the wait for the sequel.
There are a couple of jokes in the game that only a finn can understand, I just had to include a few. :)
I have playing up ta chapter 5.

Current levels are near 23 for each of the players but somehow difficulty is not the problem that i've encountered. I just don't know what to do anymore!
Or i should say where to do it anyway i'm supposed to go to the a lost temple which i did after a painfull travel through those swamps and then i arrived finnaly at that temple i beated some imp took the book from some imp gave it to some fairy back in the swamps. But there seems to be no exit or way trough the temple?

I just found a rare painting which has been transferred to the inn which is bought and completely operational but there is only some weirdo staring at it telling me i'm not ready for the ultimate challenge..

There was an altar however in that lost temple with four bells but nothing happens when i got there? My party is cinfigured whith angela her angel gardian and the blond armage.

Do have to pick another playere to move on?

This is so frustrating where is final boss hiding? I managed to end some side quests like the soul devourer and some orc king in a castle but none of those sidequests seems to matter to advance in the game.

So i'm stuck at that lost temple the only lead i have is that altar with four bells on it!

You're very close to the end of the main storyline. There's a little fairylike creature called Lil at the lower right corner of the ruins. She will give you a box that you can open at the altar. Be prepeared for a tough fight. ;)

The ultimate challenge is exactly that, an extra challenge that you can try. (It's way harder than any other boss in the game)

Big ups for doing those skullmarked quests even before finishing Lost Temple, that's quite a feat.

Well it was kind of difficult but i noticed if those quests were done in a certain order the other skull side quests would become a little bit easiyer.

Anyway i managed to accomplishe something which is akin to a miracle!!!!!!!!

I managed to defeat xirt the omega poultry that is posing as the ultimate challenge. Well actually he was the ultimate challenge!

I had to boost integra to level 48! Use nothing less than 20 kylmicos revive beers and played like half an hour(no exagerration!!) before i beat him.

Not only has this boss immense gargantuan preposterous HP but he can (and does!) take out your party members with a single action. Plus his pandora attack inflicts a whole set off ailnesses with petrify among them (thank god i saved like 23 glowflowers in my inventory!) because i don't know what else could have cured the petrify state! And his life regeneration is like 14000 hp +- when he does that!

Anyway this boss is insanely difficult he is many times the magnitude of those skull side quest bosses. Infact he is much much much much much harder to beat than the end boss off the game.

I should mention that i used angely stryk and naturally laurantia as she always accompanies angela they were all boosted to +/- level 40 some above it some just under 40 like stryk. stryk's abbility to take away xirt's buffs proved to be crucial into defeating him.

So what is the prize off this mega epic ridiculously diffucult battle.
Well the most important is the omega coat which protects the wearer from all status ailnesses plus it boosts all the stats! And you get like 25000 exp! plus 99999 of gold! plus a chest containing 10 kylmicos!

And the satisfaction for beating the omega boss.

So at the moment of speaking integra is at level 49 with 463925 exp 8371HP 4982SP atk of 270 def 225 mdef 225 str 480 dex 436 agi 458 int 345 !!!!!!!!!!!!

I just wan't to ask one last thing when exactly is the sequel going to be released? Will there be a demo shortly?
Wow supergamer that is quite an accomplishment. Did you use Integra for dps or for speed kylmicos / barrier stones? (assuming integra reacted before the boss).
Well done SuperGamer! Not many can say that they have beaten the ultimate challenge.

Sadly the sequel is nowhere near completion. I'm hoping to get something playable out during this year. Fingers crossed.
The game for me wont start saying it can't find RGSS102E.dll , any idea how to solve this?

Have you installed the rtp? That might solve the problem.

I did have one installed, but for some reason it didn't work.
Thanks for the help, the game is fully working now :)
I just finished the game. And this is my thoughts, not a review.

+ The game is beautifully executed (there are very little bugs and non of them are game breaking).

+ The grammar is pretty good, except for mixing "his" and "her" (this is quite and accomplishment, since the creator of the game is not native English speaker).

+ Beautiful maps (I would have liked a little less walking on the interior of towns, but the World Map is not that big}.

- The game is a total grind fest. And this was my biggest gripe with this game. Although the creator sais in the guide that you don't have to grind, it's a total bull crap. Even the regular encounter require specific levels, otherwise your party is wipeout. And talking about the skull bosses, you can't approach any of those if you're less than lvl 25. But to reach lvl 25 is a long and boring grind fest, since the game is extremely unbalanced. Across the board the exp. is 5% or less of HP (example: 7,000HP monster gives 35 exp., and 20,000HP monster gives 65 exp.) The gaps between levels are huge, and there are 11 playable characters, who join your party throughout the game, and when they join you they are at extremely low lvl (example: when Angela and Lauranthia join late in the game, and most of other characters were about lvl 25, they came at lvl 16. From lvl 16 to lvl 25 is about 40,000 to 50,000 exp you have to grind for, and the most you get from monsters at that time is 100 exp. It's hours upon hours of grinding. Yes, in Hell you get double that, about 200 exp., but at lvl 16 it is a suicide to go there.) The regular encounters are getting harder in latter chapters, but exp. is still at about the same level. In my opinion the exp. received should be at the very least doubled, and maybe even tripled, or the gaps between levels should be at the very least half of what they are now. I understand the creator wanted the game to be challenging, and it's fine with me, but grinding for hours upon hours is boring, and I had to quit more than several time, because I was dying from boredom. Grinding for hours does not make the game challenging, and I think it was done on purpose, to extend the length of the game.

I tried the Ultimate Challenge with the party with lvl 30 and higher, and was wiped out after maybe 3-4 turns. At this point the gap between levels is 10,000 and higher, so even if I try to gring in Hell where I can get 200 to 250 exp. it's going to take days. So I'm not doing it.

This game could've been excellent and enjoyable, if not for long hours of grinding. The story is OK, the characters are loveable and pretty good developed, not bad cut scenes, some enjoyable humor. So overall it's not that bad.

And I hope that balancing in the sequel will be better.

Good luck.

Thank you for taking the time to write your thoughts, and well done finishing the game. It is a hard one.
I totally understand your frustration with the exp gain, but I have to defend my decisions a bit. ;)

The low exp gain from random battles was a gamedesign decision, though I admit I went a bit too far with it. Most of the exp is gained through bossfights, this way I was able to keep the game hard until the end.

A grindfest was never my intention.

The low exp gain was supposed to discourage grinding and make the player try alternate ways to defeat bosses and make the battles more intense. Frustration is supposed to be normal. :) But from gameovers, not from boredom.

Angela joining at level 16 is a miss calculation at my point, she should be lvl 19 as Lauranthia is. I'm suprised no-one had noticed that before. Thanks for pointing it out.

The Ultimate Challenge is just that. It requires a lot of grinding, good tactics and pure luck. It was never ment to be accomplished by everyone.

The sequal will be hard too but I hope you'll stay tuned and join the wait. Even if it seems to be taking forever to complete.
You're welcome!

Looking forward to the sequel, but I honestly hope you'll balance it much better.
I truly believe that exp. should be somewhere from 15% to 25% of HP.

As for this game, I had to grind or I wouldn't have been able to approached any of the bosses. I tried the vampire at about lvl 20 and couldn't do it, as for nature
one, I couldn't finished her at lvl.25. So maybe it's just me, or how I play, but for me the only way was to bring the lvls up.

Overall, like I said before, I enjoyed the game, sans the grinding.

Yeah, that's the worst slip left in the game and I really should patch it. But thanks for pointing out bugs, and good to hear you're enjoying the game. I do intend to patch Story of Integra once more sometime in the future, but now all my RPG Maker time is spent with the sequel. Join the wait. (Even though it seems to take forever :p )
